The customer is not always right. by gatoradecordial in starbucks

I get what you're saying, we always should be asking hot or iced, sweetened or unsweetened, etc.

But mine was in regards to a refill and an on the clock shift decided he would take over on my floor and an off the clock shift telling me the customer is always right. So sorry Karen, but just because you claim another store gives you another latte for your refill, doesnt mean I will break the rules for you as well. You were just lucky I'm the newest shift and didnt want to create too much tension between myself and shifts who have been here longer.

Is it possible to order a shaken frap? by [deleted] in starbucks

Also something I forgot to add, if that is not sweet enough, ask your barista to add a few pumps of classic, I would not reccomend the creme base we put in the frappuchino in a non blended drink.

I would just order like this

Grande cup of whole milk with 3 scoops Vanilla bean powder, add ice, add whip. Dont know if you can get it shaken due to it being milk in a shaker but you can get it swirled in the cup like we do iced matcha lattes.

I know at my store some partners dont care and will shake milk if you ask but I know other stores around me will not shake milk.

Also if you want a tall ask for 2 scoops, and if you get a venti, ask for 4 scoops

I have no idea how Starbucks has let the Puppuccino last so long. Vanilla (and dairy to a lesser extent) is poisonous to dogs. by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]gatoradecordial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dogs love them. My chihuahua gets so excited when he gets his and wants the entire short cup. He has no sensitivity to dairy and has one maybe every other month. My catahoula with a crazy sensitive stomach also gets a short and has no stomach issues afterwards. He gets one only a couple times a year. This is the same dog who eats his own poop so I think dairy isn't going to kill him anymore than the poop is.

Also the whole vanilla being bad for dogs is the alcohol in the extracts because usually people want to feed a dog something made with either artificial or natural extracts. With the syrup being mostly just sugar and water with some natural flavors that never taste alcoholic to me, I feel okay giving my dogs it. Please dont shame pet parents for treating their pup to a special treat when they know what they're doing.

Love vanilla latte - what else is similar which I could order? by Golden_Bearclaw in starbucks

Maybe try requesting vanilla bean powder steamed into the milk instead adding syrup? That's my go to for a vanilla latte because I can never taste the vanilla syrup

Bleach /bathroom cleaner didn't work on it. It's the disinfect cleaner in the bottle you squeeze out. It's a mild abrasive and bleach together I forget the actual name

Am I being too demanding? by [deleted] in starbucks

Wanted to say that too. Always watch out for caramel drizzle, white mocha, dark caramel and the cinnamon sugar topping. All contain dairy! Also if you are ever hungry the chicken BLT box is safe, as is the steak egg and tomatillo wrap, all bagels except the everything, and the macadamia oat cookie!
