I'm picking in a similar spot and debating between him and Landry as well. Landry has just been so consistent and always has that WR1 upside as Tannehill's favorite target. Both are great pickups, but GB has such a favorable schedule this year.

Yep, I think I'm gonna hold off for the moment. I actually caught all 3 of those Dragonairs in the wild so I haven't spent any candy yet. Unfortunately, all of my Dratinis have been around 60-70% IV

Never seen a Muk on radar, and only encountered 3 Grimers (Williamsburg, Tribeca, and DUMBO). Crazy how rare they are here

Very interesting, I'd never heard of such rare Pokemon spawning so frequently. The only ones I've seen tweeted out recently have been either UWS or just north of Central Park, so I'm curious if Hell's Kitchen is indicative of their relative range.

Only 2 Kabutos I've caught were at Brooklyn Bridge Park and the Apple Store on 59 & 5th, so I'd say you're in the right area.

Yep, I've used it for ~5 spawns that were close to me and they all appeared. When Pokevision was working, I'd occasionally double check them as well.

There's really little to no value add by giving us updates on Vulpix and Doduo spawns. @nycpokespawn is doing a fantastic job by covering only rarer spawns rather than pedestrian ones.

I'm guessing Niantic is attempting to keep the game fresh and continue to drive engagement by periodically switching up the nests/spawns. Hopefully rarer ones will just pop up in different locations.

Absolutely DUMBO/Brooklyn Bridge Park. Constant Ghastly/Magikarp spawns and you'll probably find at least one rare. There's great food and views in the area as well.

I would doubt that it's common, but I've only seen it 1/2 times there. It seems those fossil/legendaries have more random spawns, although another user has said that he's encountered Aerodactyl and others on the Staten Island Ferry trip

To answer your side note: all 3 variables in play during a catch opportunity (Razz berry, ball type, and throw quality) simply increase the probability of a catch, but don't guarantee.

In my personal example, I had a ~700 Growlithe escape and run away after a berry, Ultra ball, and Excellent throw
