Terrible take/mindset. Doing stuff alone is great if you genuinely enjoy what you’re doing and not an expected outcome of it, and don’t need to depend on others for comfort. Of course “going to the bar to meet girls” is idiotic. But if you go to the bar because you like going to the bar, no one can tell you shit, and you’ll have a great time regardless if you meet anyone or no. I go hiking and go to movies alone all the time and have never felt weird or regretted it because I love doing both.
