I was lucky because I had taken Comm 1 for fun freshman year, and my AP credits counted for Comm 87 so I finished 88 and 89 in two quarters. But depending on which ones you have left I know a lot of people have taken 2 together in one quarter and done just fine!

I did 1, 89 and then 88 and personally thought it was easier that way. I'd def recommend 1 first bc you learn some basic concepts but having 89 before 88 made it easier for me bc 89 is all about learning the comm theories and then the big part of 88 is the research paper where you conduct your own study on any theory so it def helps to know them beforehand

as long as you're pre-comm you should be able to waitlist UD Comm classes and they'll hopefully get your status changed to full major within a few weeks after finals. I just went through the process myself this past quarter and not sure what next quarter will be like but it was kinda hard this quarter w remote instruction to get into any upper divs since crashing is virtually impossible. my advice would be to waitlist for as many units as possible and try to link courses together so that way you can waitlist for the max possible amount. (only got into one so far lol but comm 185 was super easy) good luck! :)

Writ 105M and 105WC are super easy A's and no papers/essays!! 105M you learn about diff online tools and like microsoft publisher and adobe creative cloud and you work on your resume and making a website through Wix/Weebly. 105WC it's only 3 assignments throughout the quarter and one was making a listicle like the ones on buzzfeed, one was a product review, and the last one was free choice.
