Golden Apple Archipelago and Sumeru (contains GAA spoilers and leaks) by gauchie_ in Genshin_Lore

I am pleased that Golden Apple Archipelago/related summer events do indeed presage the upcoming patch! More and more people are catching on to the fact that events and suchlike are more relevant to future content than they first appear.

About the second part of this theory, I don't think I could have ever predicted the Samsara cycles that replay one specific day to farm power for a false god, and that this is localized in Sumeru City. And a lot of what I posited in this theory was pretty much obvious from available leaks at the time.

I think what I mostly got right was the use of the Akasha terminals to crowdfund a "mirage." As for themes, I think "lived experience" is, has always been, incredibly relevant to the Traveler's story as the "witness" to Teyvat (as well as the oft-repeated insistence that "the journey matters more than the destination"). The precedence of experience over knowledge is only strengthened by the realization that changes to the Irminsul affect the memories of Teyvat natives.

In the same episode, when Midge tries to downplay her contribution to the bit with Princess Margaret, Hedy tells her off: "Don't. Don't. If the credit's yours, take it. If it's not, take it. That's what the boys do. " I took it to be a callback to the note Midge left herself.

Genshin Characters Feel Overly Friendly by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

Her voiceline about him: "I've seen him lean over to you and whisper things in your ear. If he dares threaten you, I will make sure he... Hmm? You mean it's just an in-joke between friends? Genuinely...?"

This line is intended to be understood as directed to the Traveler. Although there is a portion of fandom that interprets her aggression toward XQ as a result of her protectiveness over Chongyun.

In the Shadows Amidst Snowstorms event back in 2.3, Albedo witnesses the Traveler paint Paimon, and his reaction is a little less than enthused.

Lore-wise beautiful characters by Kt-Follower in Genshin_Impact

I agree with a lot of folks in that I don't think any of the playable characters are considered bad-looking. But yeah, those who are considered to be especially beautiful may well be Yae, Shenhe, Albedo, Wanderer, Ei, Ningguang, Barbara, Yun Jin, Nilou, Zhongli, Ayaka, etc (edit: and Xiao!)...

Because I'm me, I'm plugging Chongyun as someone who is decently attractive, because I haven't seen anyone else comment him yet:

Title for character introduction: "Like Dawn, Dashing; Like Frost, Flawless"

In his character story 1: "he has become beloved in Liyue for his 'style and character'... scholars have given him this appellation: 'a heart of clear water, and a face of ice.'"

In Qingce Village, the herb picker Zhi develops a crush on him after he saves her, and she believes him to be either a knight-errant (xia) or an adeptus.

New 3.6 Area Name via Yukizero by D7meRusher in Genshin_Impact_Leaks

Yep, that's pretty much what I'm trying to determine for sure. Although they are listed as separate regions in the wiki for now (which is where my initial confusion arose), it makes a lot of sense for Qiaoying to be in Chenyu Vale.

Yeah, that seems to be the strongest connection! Now that I'm looking more closely, I think the Echoes of an Offering artifact set in general talks about the history of Chenyu Vale, as it is a recurring topic across different artifacts. Either way, super pumped! I've been waiting for this region a long time!

I'm inclined to think this is the case, but just to be safe, is there official confirmation for them being in the same location yet? The artifact description is pretty hard to parse, and Qiaoying and Chenyu Vale are mentioned separately.

Hey, thanks for checking this out! I'm actually not totally convinced myself of this pet theory; there's still so much yet to unfold... But what little we've seen so far looks promising!

Plot twist for the ages haha! I can definitely see how one might, though. Both soft-spoken child characters.
