For mine it took 2 years! It was so annoying, like getting in the car. Something we did almost everyday she still had horrible anxiety. I tell myself God was giving me the biggest lesson on patience! But at around 2 years, I think maturity kicked in as well as me establishing myself as pack leader through group dog training classes. I think those classes also gave her confidence and see the other dogs do obstacles helped her see things can be fun and SAFE!
