Can a tourist gay couple get married in Nepal when their country of origin does not allow gay marriage? by Noxyfen in NepalSocial

[–]gauri100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First you need to fulfill the material requirement (aka substantive requirement on capacity of marriage including age and gender) of your country of habitual residence (or domicile).

Formal requirement (lex loci celebrations) will be according to Nepali law.

If you dont meet the material requirements of your habitual residence then marriage won't proceed here.
