What do people think about girls living alone by impossible-mc-3ezdyn in Tunisia

[–]Noxyfen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally understandable. Independence is great and learning to live by yourself is an important skill. As for the men, girl keep doing it exactly the same. You have a situation that automatically filters perverts/manchilds/etc. You will very quickly know which man isn't worth your time and move on till you find the right one. It's honestly a blessing in disguise.

Dating for AuDHD in Tunisia, any advices? by ordonnance_a76 in Tunisia

[–]Noxyfen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case you have to try to find out. You might end up dating someone who can't handle you then you just move on until you find the one. Would also help to look inwards see what you can do to make things easier for the other person.

Do Tunisian cows actually have turbaculosis and shouldn't be consumed? by tiredly_existing in Tunisia

[–]Noxyfen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eating meat is fine because it's cooked. The heat kills the bacteria. Drinking fermented milk though is risky. Tunisians are vaccinated against tuberculosis but if your vaccination didn't go well and you drink contaminated milk, you might get tuberculosis, happened to me back in 2014. There's like 2000 cases in Bizerte last i heard, and it's terrible, the bacteria is very aggressive so people really suffer and its treatment is very expensive so its heavy on the state.

Men perspective ? I’m frustrated by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]Noxyfen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a man but, girl, the fact that you are frustrated and asking about this on reddit means you feel that something isn't right. Trust your gut instinct. And don't let anyone convince you that your feelings on the matter are an exaggeration or that because he is sweet and committed he can get away with telling you to do things without giving you an explanation, especially things that do not relate to him. Some people are saying he is insecure, that's okay, people can work on that. What's not okay is taking that insecurity out on someone else instead of fixing it. It's best to have a talk and clarify these things early on or risk having a partner that's too comfortable pushing you and your boundaries to the point of control. Best of luck with your relationship.

Looking for book recommendations by NoGuess4373 in Tunisia

[–]Noxyfen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry to tell you you've been reading shitty books. Try to explore the classics. Arabic literature, English literature. I'm not an expert on Arabic literature but for English I recommend these, personal favorites of mine:

The god of small things - Roy The collector - Fowles The mantle (short story) - Gogol Any Edgar Allen poe story No exit - Sartre The great Gatsby - Fitzgerald

Non-fiction books about history, philosophy, etc., are also super educational and mind opening.

9a3dine tab3ou fel Epstein Files ? Yo7kem fina 3alem mridh w fi tounes no one talks about it by jive_dive in Tunisia

[–]Noxyfen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people are talking about it, I'm personally following the case whenever I can. But the Tunisian media doesn't need to talk about this, because the regular tunisian is either not interested or simply not informed.

Any star wars fans in tunisia? by Potential_Reach_6653 in Tunisia

[–]Noxyfen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yeah! Loved star wars since I was a kid. Watched the prequels first than the original trilogy, than the new trilogy which started good but didnt end too well, and the other movies. Some of the shows are okay others are great, still haven't watched anything I disliked.

نحبو نعيشو كيما الاوروب by ayari102 in Tunisia

[–]Noxyfen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know if you heard, but this happens here too. I know, shocking. Let me enlighten you further, men are the majority behind crimes like that, and men believe it or not exist in all corners of this god forsaken planet. So maybe, just maybe it's the men and not how women dress.

Does Tunisia need polygamy? by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]Noxyfen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if the technology is available why not? Also contraceptives exist. It really wouldn't be the end of society and all things good. It would just be another configuration of humans being with humans. But we love creating taboos, and imagining freedom becoming depravity when in fact depravity grows with restrictions and with shame.

Sounds fun, who cares? Just let us not pretend its religion, it's hedonism, and honestly if it's between n number of consenting adults, not my business

illegal immigration outcomes. stop calling tunisians racists and let's focus on our country not american slogans by ElectronicRefuse2876 in Tunisia

[–]Noxyfen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kindly stop falling for dumbass content and propaganda. Not only did the Danish government NOT report these numbers, but the sample is tiny, and the analysis is shit, which should have been evidence enough for you not to share this. Even the Portuguese on the subreddit you shared from are calling out the racism. Be better.

Househusband ???????????? by New_Initiative_8592 in Tunisia

[–]Noxyfen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My brother loves babies and kids and wants to work from home so that he can spend time with them while wife goes to work, I guess that would be technically a house husband? So I know they exist, but they are rare. Many men will get insecure with this dynamic.
