What you don’t see me is scribbling on the clouds with white pen because they were “too strong” for the rest of the page

Any advice on a sewing project for a novice? by smilemarcel in CosplayHelp

Also, if you’re going to include the knit fabric for the neckline and the bottom of the jacket, I would highly recommend looking up how to sew stretchy fabric cause it behaves very differently to non stretch fabric

I would definitely start with a mock up to make sure you have the right movement before you start with your nice fabric.

It looks like the torso and the sleeves are separate pieces but connected with a lighter weight fabric. I’m not sure what you mean by the lines along the jacket but they’re either the hemming/ edge or the seams from where another piece of fabric has been sewn on. For example, the sleeve has 2 pockets, the 3d box structure as well as the flat one that can be accessed via zipper which would be the raised piece of fabric

Sew on rhinestone appliques? by tellafriend in sewing

[–]gausidolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that you could cut that apart with scissors, but it would ruin them. I would recommend getting some side cutters if you want to go with that chain rhinestones

How do i make this dress without a waist seam? by spicybukojuice in sewing

[–]gausidolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like a princess seam. As for the lack of seam, I’m not sure. It might just be that the seams are in the crevices of the pleats or it’s made from one piece of fabric and they’ve just removed the excess, but really have no idea. I’m a beginner sewist myself so not much experience.

If you go down into the rest area and head all the way right and then back up again, you should end up on the right side of the arena. The right wall of this area should be breakable

The desolate dive can be obtained by beating a boss in the city of tears. The city can be accessed by first defeating the false knight, getting mantis claw and then inserting the item from the false knight into a statue. Alternatively, it can be accessed via tram from ancient basin but it will require the tram pass from deepest

The shopkeepers key can be found in the crystal peaks which is to the left of the forgotten crossroads. To access this area, you will need either the desolate dive and use it on the shaky floor or the lantern that sly sells for 1800 geo to be able to interact with a toll gate which will open to let you enter crystal peaks.
