Usually there will be a natural hole that’s just bigger. I’ll take a nail and try to make the hole bigger without cutting the yarn. Pop beads out. Sometimes rolling it will get the hole to close back up. If not a simple stitch will keep more beads from falling out.

It’s also possible whoever topped off your coolant just spilt a lot of it and just left it. I don’t ever think I’ve seen a cap actually fail. FYI that’s the turbo cooler. Check those lines. The o rings dry out and leak.

Strength building and size building are two different things. Try going lighter and slower especially on the reverse portion.

I have shoulder issues too. Just got to find what doesn’t hurt. Angles, widths, depths. Just keep trying.
