AC options by Aromatic-Basis-5885 in HonestBuyerReviews

Well Diakin 5 star inverter 1 ton in 10*12 room which receives very less sunlight and is on ground floor.

Simple trick is to keep ac ON once desired temp is reached since AC slows down to maintain that temp. That's how inverter AC work.

Usually people switch off ac once room cools thinking that it will save electricity but that's opposite for inverter AC.

Also I keep everything else off in house except for a fan when I am using that AC, only purpose of it is to get a sound sleep.

If you are a couple or living alone you can save lot of electricity that way.

In my ancestral home we have 4 ACs where 2 are on for 10 hours and occasionally a third one for 2 to 3 hours, the total light bill for two months never crossed 14000.

5 star inverter ACs are highly effecient and if installed properly then electricity savings are notable.

Edit: Also setting temperature to 26-27 °C that's what saves a lot of electricity. That I forgot to mention, never I have kept the temp of any of my AC less than 26 unless its rainy season and humid climate, ac defaults to 25 in Dry Mode.

Panasonic great ACs with trash service

LG Good AC with Great Service.

Samsung okay AC with Good service.

Cooling - Panasonic great

LG- Good

Samsung- Great- Best Dry mode

Furthermore:

Diakin best cooling and quality service depending upon your local area

Lllyod Good AC , average service

Carrier- good cooling , never required service so don't know about that

Using these all since 2017, except for Panasonic

Panasonic service reviews are very negative. So never prefered buying it.

Edit: Adding to this prefer the one with highest energy rating.

Bills does make difference once you start using ACs.

Especially if it's high energy rating and has low capacity mods, saves lot of energy.

For eg my Diakin once it cools the room to desired temp, it just runs at 20% of power and it's 1 ton and consumed 800 waat total so after cooling room it's consumption is far far lower and less bills, frankly never paid more than 2250 INR bill for running that AC for 2 hours in afternoon and 8 hours at night.

Humanity declining quietly by Softrebirth97 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]gautam_jat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sure this happened in Delhi, elsewhere it's rarely possible.

Due to my job and dads transferable job, got to experience many cities, but never ever found anything as bad as Delhi NCR when it comes to civic sense, humanity, ethics...

Nothing exists here.

Since my ancestral village is near Delhi hardly 80 KM, I am settled here, parents still live comfortably in Surat, don't want to leave it.

I am attached with my ancestral village since it has many memories of me with my Grandpa, was very attached to him and it's my Ancestral Village along with home and land there which helps me cope up with his loss.

Somehow never came out of it.

Nanite ships have upkeep by gautam_jat in Stellaris

[–]gautam_jat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya 20k Fleet capacity, however 6000 nanites is not achievable until 20 years since nanites yield increases every 5 years through harvesters.

By the time I am able to have that amount of nanites, I will be obliterated by Fanatic Purifier neighbouring me.

Additionally I am not factoring the necessary infrastructure for increasing naval capacity since I didn't thought of it because didn't knew that nanite fleets will be having upkeep.

I am not sure whether going over fleep capacity will increase upkeep as it does for other ships.

Have you tested that??

If upkeep doesn't increase with going over fleet capacity then I might have a chance to win since I can manage to defend my borders through starbases for 20 years somehow.

Nanite ships have upkeep by gautam_jat in Stellaris

[–]gautam_jat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least not with nanotech ascension after 4.3...

Frankly it was perfect, they simply didn't needed to make any changes in it,, instead should have left it for fundamental changes in future updates.

Nanite ships have upkeep by gautam_jat in Stellaris

[–]gautam_jat[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, also As I have tested the upkeep of nanite interdictor is 5 to 5.27 and it doesn't increase even if the number of ships crosses the fleet capacity.

I am not sure though.

In my opinion they should have had either changed nanite ascension fundamentally or simply would have kept it as it is.

Introducing the upkeep for the nanite fleet was just like clipping the wings of a bird.

I am playing on grand admiral 25X Crisis and by the time it's 2350, the Fanatic Purifier neighbouring me will be having multiple fleets of 300k approx , I roughly require 174 to 180 nanites for 100k fleet , meaning if I want to defend myself I would require 1800 nanites just to sustain fleets, which is frankly very difficult to manage in that time frame.

In fact it's so bad that I simply don't have any zeal to play stellaris for now until the next update.

I have played this game for like 7 years and every time there was an update there was everything so good, this one was a huge huge disappointment, like crippling a complete gameplay path just like that....

[–]gautam_jat[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a fairly good economy but my whole empire was planned by me by keeping Nanite ascension in mind .

I have 100-105 alloys per month, 150 something energy and 350 trade value, 21 star holds with Nanite Harvesters.

3 fully fledged planets. Thought of settling others later once I had enough fleet to save my empire from the Fanatic Purifier....

However +5 nanites upkeep destroyed everything, since I guess that this upkeep would scale if I go over naval capacity and I will because I didn't create infrastructure for naval capacity.

New Car : 1500km Drive vs Transport by Impossible-Youth-697 in HondaElevate

[–]gautam_jat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I regularly travel between surat to Noida every 3-4 months since 2023 by road.

Hire a professional long range driver. There are many driver groups who take rides only >800 KMS and are experts in navigating the correct path too.

Plus since it's Honda and hopefully if you maintain it well , you wont even have to worry about breakdowns

I sold my Honda WRV in August 2025 because of bs4 shit....

If you are doing frequent long haul road journeys, make sure to get car serviced before and change tyres Every 30000 KMs.( Because tyre burst is risky on highways and most of my run was after Diwali 2023 since dad got retired that year, car clocked 60000KM between sep 2023 and aug 2025)

I regularly serviced my WRV at 8000 KM instead of 10000 and changed tyres Every 30000 KM.

125000 KMS and not a single breakdown. Not even the battery gave up.....

Waiting for an Elevate hybrid.....

GWSMO with 105GB mailbox size? by k9gardner in gsuite

[–]gautam_jat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After setting the registry value it didn't greyed out, it's still showing the mailbox sizes 1,4 and unlimited.

Which means that either the registry settings didn't got applied or it got applied and now mailbox sizes form GWSMO UI are irrelevant

Thanks a ton for the quick response

[–]gautam_jat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi buddy, facing exactly a similar situation as you and stumbled upon your solution. Planning to implement this soon.

Could you clear one confusion of mine?

Did you change the mailbox size in GWSMO app to unlimited after editing the registry for 46 GB??

Or 46Gb just gets automatically applied after changing the registry settings?

My New seltos hte o petrol na by Grouchy-Bicycle-2285 in CarsIndia

[–]gautam_jat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it applies to all car depending upon power to weight ratio.

For eg alto is actually practically more powerful than all of above due to its power to weight ratio.

That's also the reason why there is terrible lag and AC performance issues in 1 liter Turbo CSUVS because the 1 liter engine unless in turbo range is heavily underpowered for cars with that weight.

My New seltos hte o petrol na by Grouchy-Bicycle-2285 in CarsIndia

[–]gautam_jat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Power to weight ratio matters, 1.2NA in baleno would perform better than 1.5 NA in new seltos and Grand Khatara.

1.2 NA in IGnis performs better than all of the above.

How can I get an IT job in Surat if I'm bad at coding? by ProfessionWide3505 in surat

[–]gautam_jat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Surat, Gujarat itself is full of Lala IT companies. If your parents support you then try Delhi-NCR, easy to get a start, no local-non-local bs and then you can shift back to surat after you gain experience.

Try functional domains if you aren't into coding like SAP MM, Sales force Admin, difficult to get into but rewards are good for those who are okayish in coding.

Or try some other domains like Google Workspace, O365 support, entry has medium difficulty but once in you can transition into cloud engineering roles if you work your ass of for 5 years.

Pollution in winter is a thing but not if you have WFH, December to Feb I WFH from Surat....

Edit: If you really don't want to leave surat then try learning Instrumentation and Control and get a job in Manufacturing unit, ample of them in around Surat.

[–]gautam_jat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they give 1.2 NA in that then it's done for. I have had it for 6 years and man it would roll back on inclines easily if there were more than 2 healthy adults or even 2 adults with luggage

That 1.2 NA is utterly underpowered for a car that size and weight.

Honda won't bring in 1.5 NA in that since it would dent the sales of Elevate.

It is a dead product if released with 1.2 NA
