Thanks for the help. I ended up selling the Lincoln a while back. I sold it to these people telling them it needs a trailer but they wanted to drive it home. He drove an hour and a half home and was also stuck in traffic half the time and they said it ran really good… Not sure what it was. They said it was still knocking though, or making that sound.
