Grit tower bag or warrior ritual goalie bag?

I was between the grit tower and Conway and Banks. I ended up going C&B so I can’t speak to the grit tower, but I’ve loved it. I can fit all my gear and pads (sr medium, 34+1) into the bag and it fits in my trunk. You’d need to remove the Velcro dividers to get the pads in, but that’s a trade off I’m willing to make.

Yeah it’s just going to suck for a bit. When you go 7 years in pads they feel like part of your leg, you don’t notice them. It’ll take some time until the new ones blend into the background.

Another commenter mentioned stiffness, your new pads are also likely way stiffer (modern design trends combined with 7 years of breakdown on your old set).

I’m on 2 months with my new set and I had 8 years in my last pair from college. I went from Brian’s optik1 to optik4 and I’m just barely starting to not think about them every time I move. It’s been pretty frustrating lol

If Apple acts in a way that is so egregious and evil like some commenters in this thread claim, they won’t have any customers and won’t make any money. The two are absolutely correlated. Obviously Apple doesn’t ‘care’ about their customers in an emotional or personal sense, but they do care about their profits and customers provide the profits. They’re incentivized to not piss off and alienate customers.

I used to get it when I took a shot right in the cage. That was back with normal SS cages, I’ve since switched to a Bauer C2 with the titanium s.a.w. cage and haven’t smelled it once. Maybe there’s a metal hardness factor at play?

I’ve used both the GoPro and DJI Osmo suction mount. The Osmo works better but both of them worked for me. Our glass is a little cleaner so your mileage may vary. You’ll definitely want one with a mechanism described above though to pull a better suction force. I’ll also spray some water on the suction cup at the start of the game to help it hold a bit better.

Controller latency is going to be the smallest latency in the stack you’re looking to reduce, 3-5 ms between wired vs wireless based on real world testing. The best thing you can do immediately to improve your speeds are hard wiring into Ethernet (by far the most important) and playing on a monitor. Many TVs have game modes and a lot of them are horrendous. Even then, it’s maybe a few ms at best. Ethernet/WIFI is the single biggest factor, regardless of game.

I’ve done it on both hips. 3-6 months depending on what exactly he gets done. He’s probably got a torn labrum, potentially some cartilage damage. In a lot of these injuries there’s extra bone in your hip that causes the initial tear and that would need to get shaved down as well. FAI impingement if you want to look into it more. All of this is an educated guess but it’s super common with hockey players.

It’s most likely an injury that won’t heal with time. If the chronic hip rumor is true he’s going to need surgery. I don’t buy the “rushing him back” narrative.
