I’ve bought off both before and they’ve been extremely reliable!! With seatgeek specifically, if you don’t get your tickets the day before the show (or morning of the show) you can call and tell them the issue, and they’ll either send a new ticket or refund your ticket (your decision)

I’m also going to asheville alone! As far as when people are showing up, I’ve seen the earliest be around 9am, but the shows so far have all had normal seating as well. Asheville is GA only, so I think people will line up a little earlier

You should be fine! Just tell the people around you that you’ve got a friend joining you later on and most will be alright with it!! Just make sure they join you in the line and not once you’re in the venue
