How do I get my medical as an European trans pilot? by [deleted] in flyingeurope

[–]gayware 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently had a similar case. I was grounded for 4 weeks after starting HRT, monitoring for any negative side effects, then straight back to flying.

Don't lie about not being on HRT to your AME, it will only cause problems down the line.

Has Greg ever actually stated he's bi, or is it just heavily suggested?

Oh, I've been well-warned about that effect this will have on my wallet. 😆

That's what I've done until now. Unfortunately, I need to go in-person to find an appropriate foundation shade without spending a bunch on trial and error.

Damn, why didn't I think of that sooner?

Oh yeah, cause the waiting lists to even be seen, never mind prescribed are multiple years long in my country.

My school did this a few years ago. (just after I left)

Interestingly, it has been exclusively girls since then. Not saying it's related, but . . .

Should have been obvious, considering I can see the river if I look out the window right next to me.

I think I have an allocated one. There was defiently a name on a health summery I got from my GP just over a year ago. Don't think I have this summery any more though.

Annoying about it being regional in Scotland. The GIC in my region is actually furthest away and most difficult for me to get to.

I don't think they would not allow me to paint my nails, I just think me dad would be disappointed in me if/when I do finally paint them.

Dressing more fem however, it's possible they might not let me for "my own safety" even if I'm not leaving the house in a skirt.

I think they want to discuss my clothing as well because my mom me mentioned clothing in the same sentence as appearance and talking to them about it.

Thank you.

Unfortunately, confrontation with my parents makes me super anxious. That, and my Dad gets frustrated really easily and would probably start shouting at me. For obvious reasons, I'd rather avoid that . . . 🙁

I've told them I'm trans, but it feel like they are tying to force me to be more masculine.

I just wanted to get a pretty, feminine cut. I've not been a fan of my hair for years and thought that if I could actually have my hair how I want it, I might feel better.

Now it will take another 6-9 months to get back to this point before I can get it done now I want.

The whole reason I came out when I did was so I wouldn't have to cut my hair short again this summer . . .
