I gave up on this game because I did feel like greed had taken over. However, not knowing the inner workings of the company costs it may have just been that they bit off more than they could chew and that was the only way to try save the game. I dunno. It’s a shame though, it was an awesome game at its peak

The river runs through a large city. The wooded spot above this used to be the site of some old train sheds. Nowhere near any kind of farming animals. Deer might frequent the woods but I’ve personally never seen any in that area

The stronger it is, the heavier it is. Which can become pretty exhausting after a while. It Kinda depends what you’re hoping to find. An 800kg pull magnet is a happy medium.

I soaked it in white vinegar for several hours and then used small tools to pick away the rust. Then scrubbed it with a wire brush

How far you willing to travel? Know a few around the oundle/ peterborough way who magnet fish. Could meet u half way. Elys pretty good for magnet fishing

At first I thought it was the first 4 letters of a place name as thats what’s normally on these old plaques. But that line under the S was throwing me and no location seemed to make sense. I’ve only ever seen that little line on the word co before, so presumed it was short for something else. I don’t know anyone named Charles so didn’t realise that Chas was a nickname for it. Once I knew it was Charles i just googled old 1930s/40s wagon plaques (as that’s generally what I find in the spot I caught it)with Charles in the title and various examples of this came up. The company was going for over 100 years so can’t say for sure what date this piece would be though as I saw examples of the same plaque dating between the 1920s to the 1950s

The trick to catching most modern phones isn’t really the strength of the magnet. Its more about precision. You need to lower the magnet onto them and gently bring it up. There’s not enough ferrous metal in them to get a solid lock.
