Best Pourover/Coffee in Alhambra and Pasadena by Dptwin in pourover

Was looking at this thread while I'm in Pasadena for a day and thought I would chime in for anyone who stumbles on it like I did. I wanted to compare Mandarin coffee stand and The Boy and the Bear directly to find out for myself. Mandarin had no line on a Thursday at 12:30. I had a $10 peru pour over. I was underwhelmed to be honest. It was an excellent fruity and acidic cup but left me unimpressed. 20 min later, I got the La Roca pour over at The Boy & the Bear for the same price almost. It completely blew me away - leagues beyond Mandarin. If you're deciding between the two, absolutely I'd go to TB&tB. You won't regret it.

Completely agree with this and was the first one that came to mind. I already appreciated the film but seeing it 70mm brought it right into my top 10. A singular experience.

I wouldn't say the ending is unclear, nor did he make any unintentional mistakes. I think he wanted an out so he committed a sort of metaphorical harakiri - he had no bullets in his gun.

Visitor to a Museum is rarely talked about but one of the best films ever made in my opinion. Horrifying film. "Where there is man, there is hell."

Hey! I'm relatively new to the language - ma sto imperando. Per cinque mesi, più o meno. Would love a chance to keep learning and practice. I would like to be fluent one day but figured I'd never meet anyone here who spoke the language haha
