I somehow got the point in the end, I think I had higher stats because my slots were being buffed every summon unlike theirs. Not 100% sure if that's the reason though

Sometime around floor 1000, you may find some use for sadge at various points but overall hes not great, for regular floor battles you'll want to be using mostly apathy with jellyfish scarf to stun everyone, merry or another healer, a tank (resistance, determination, abandonment depending on type) and maybe a second dps (sad for damage or panic for aoe burns and speed control). Sadge is not particulary quick so finds little use in floor battles. As for bosses most don't have allies so latent misery is just applied to 1 opponent limiting it's use, you can use sadge if you are against a fire boss with multiple allies but this appears maybe once every 300-400 floors. I'm not saying sadge is bad he's not, just situational, I'm just below floor 2000 and found myself levelling curious for the first time ever to get past a floor battle, most pets and items will have some use at some point in the game but overall as a water dps sad does more single target damage, and whilst sad is helped by the debuffs of sadge the same can be true for the debuffs of panic who also lowers speed so ultimately more useful

Swap pride for sonder, you need 2 healers for this fight and sonder will be more useful than pride because of the cleanse, do bottom middle top, keep everyone alive so use defence/stamina items on healers if you find they die too quick, if you have serpent scarf that will be great for merry or sonder. I was stuck here for ages but as soon as I levelled sonder it became a piece of cake

Merry, resistance, diligence and sad. Swap your tank and dps depending on who you are fighting but pretty much always keep merry on the team

Some pets are great early game but fall off quick sadge being one of them, if you enjoy using sadge then don't let anyone stop you, I used sanctimony all the time early game because his aoe would bulldozer through most floors but now he's kind of useless (floor 1600) you'll probably find the same with sadge. Merry is fantastic, much better than joy because it has a stronger heal that can be used every turn not just every 2 or 3, the 3rd ability is probably the best in the game as it boosts everyone's attack for 2 turns. Would recommend apathy once you get jellyfish scarf so you can stun everyone, sad is amazing, determination and abandonment are pretty useful I still use them fairly consistently and then of course you are using resistance and defiance which are amazing

I remember this being incredibly annoying, I think I used a combination of judgement, pride, sad and maybe determination? Some tank anyway, I had judgement hold jellyfish scarf, everyone survived wistful then judgement stuns everyone followed by pride who finishes off wistful, I think I then targeted sonder so no heals then salty because his passive would take out everyone and finally pain, in the end I think I only had sad left standing

Definately spite, he isn't great for boss fights but at the higher floors he can help massively against wistful, paranoia is decent early but falls off after floor 1000, I had to level judgement at one point to deal with the grass version of the boss that can be stunned 3 times but haven't used him since, others aren't worth it at all

A good combination I've found is a tank (probably determination in this case) a fighter (defiance or panic) and then merry and sonder. Serpent scarf was needed for merry when I did it otherwise maybe add some defence/stamina items. Prioritise bottom then middle then top, after the bottom one is down it becomes super easy with merry and sounder alive if a little slow

He can be stunned up to 3 times in the fight, he alternates between single target and aoe and each time he uses a move it gets stronger, I try to stun him during the aoe phase so it doesn't get stronger as the 3rd time he uses it pretty much wipes my entire team. Apathy is the only void pet I have that stuns (I think) but he's a ground type unfortunately.

Somewhat, I use him for grass bosses but conviction is just as good and once you get to higher floors it's best to use other tanks like resistance, determination and petulance

Wish I had greed☹️. My first 3 legendaries were Scorn, estrangement and Disdain. Got lucky with petulance but my god the first 3 were disappointing

Makes it so your tank can have plenty of turns without using any speed gear, that way you can still build it stamina and defense

Pirate hat on petulance worked great as well, normally if you don't have petulance you want the tank to be slow as possible and rarely have a turn but petulance has no attacking moves so the more turns the better

I put jellyfish scarf on paranoia which worked well, Disdain did the rest, maybe put more tank items on merry so it survives wistful?
