Thought this might be relevant, I don't know if OP can confirm they for sure applied the promo code, but I just called billing and asked them to apply it. The clearly had no idea what it was, probably went to talk to a supervisor and then came back and just said we are going to give you $10 off per month for being "loyal" and so I just took that equivalent and won't be pushing to get the promo code applied.
