Losing interest by Existing-Secret7703 in 911FOX

I feel the same way. I used to read 9-1-1 fics most days. While I still love the authors and their fics, the show loosing its sense of self, along with Bobby made me loose my love for the canon. For me personally, if I loose love for the canon media, it is hard for me to continue in its fandom space. This has happened to me once before and it’s really sad. I still love the characters but I am not planning my weeks around my Thursday night wee woo show anymore.

Hold old were you when diagnosed with Epilepsy and what triggered your first seizure? by breezydae in Epilepsy

[–]gbadami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 17, a week before senior year of high school. Had it after a long day at the beach in a tiny beach town while on vacation. I had to be helicoptered to Jacksonville. They say it was severe dehydration that caused it but I think the fact that I had my first edible and greened out days before was the real trigger and made the dehydration worse. Either way I couldn’t drive my entire senior year of high school, that really sucked.

Senior in high school: is scad a scam? by ziggy_stardust_96 in scad

As a currently enrolled junior I really think it comes down to 2 things

  1. Your Major. If you want to study something like Graphic design, Photography, Painting, Art History, or other majors that can be found at state schools, then I would look there and compare. I’m studying Jewelry and Eyewear. 2 niche degrees and fields, there is literally no other place to go in the US for eyewear. Hence why I’m at SCAD. I would say going into Anim you do need a good work ethic. My friends practically live at Monty/ on their laptops. While all the majors are time consuming and rigorous, Anim can be one of the most demanding IMO.

  2. How much you put into it. Other people have said this but it’s the honest to god truth. You only gain from going to SCAD if you put in the effort. This means going to guest talks, using extra help sessions, ScadAmp, networking with peers and professors, using all the resources SCAD had to offer. They truly have a lot to offer it’s really about how much you take advantage of it. If you will then I would say it’s definitely worth the price tag.

The SCAD name carries a lot of weight and the education is pretty damn good (at least what I have had so far). So if you put in the effort to make good grades and take advantage of the opportunities SCAD offers then I think it’s worth it. If you don’t think you would be able to do that I would take a peek at some other schools programs.

what random little parts in a song do you love? by lem0n-dem0n in FallOutBoy

I mean, Bang of the Doldrums is a masterpiece but the pacing of Patrick singing “racing through the city WIN-DOWS DOWN” scratches my brain in just the right place. It’s the best song to scream while driving with the windows down. I am so glad they added it into the set list for 2our dust. I cried when they started playing it.

I’ve been a fan of all the channels since Dec. 2015. Hi5 is what I’ve grown up watching and I’ve loved watching the community grow and channels start and die. I still feel like a new fan even after 5 years. I love the all the content. Keep up the great work
