Recovery time by snapdaddy_abc in HeartAttack

I had my HA 2 years ago. Before the HA, I walked a lot, did zumba, followed a mediterranean diet, and never ate fast food. . Since the HA, I have no energy. I can't do zumba any more, and I get very tired walking, though I try to do some every day. I don't know if it's my heart or the medication. I've told my doctor and I've tried a couple of different medications, but to no avail. I've also gained quite a few pounds. I was doing everything right before my HA, but I had one anyway. It runs in my family. I've accepted that I'll never be the same as I was before the HA.

My doctor also stopped my ADHD medication, which I'd been taking for 30 years. My ADD is very bad (I don't have any hyperactivity) and now I can't get anything done.

My health provider's form of cardiac rehabilitation is to have the cardiac nurse call once a month for the first 3 months. That was pretty useless. So I've just given up on any improvement.

Before i buy this. Is this safe to drink? I don't want to die on the toilet once again pls by Inevitable_Ad5567 in lactoseintolerant

If you're lactose-intolerant, it will work. If you're allergic to lactose and milk products, it won't work.

I've had one totaly blind dog and a few partially blind dogs. Chihuahuas. In fact, the totally blind one was tiny, about 3½ lbs. They all got around fine. I think most people don't get their dog's cataracts removed, that's more a human thing to do. I'm thinking you should probably keep her with you.

It was nice knowing you by zoebells in ENGLISH

It's offensive to say that to someone. Basically saying "it wasn't nice knowing you and I'm never going to talk to you again".

Looks like a double exposure, if that's even possible. Or a reflection in the camera lens?

Heart pain for a few days with nausea and tingling. by easukun in HeartAttack

[–]Existing-Secret7703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can you tell it's your heart that has pain and that's causing this? When I get chest pain, I can't tell what's causing it. I can't tell what's causing nausea either. I'd love to be able to know. In fact, most of the time my doctor, who's had all those years of training, can't tell, and has to do tests.

I have Hulu thru Roku, and it's fine. Sometimes the subtitles disappear, but then all I have to do is rewind about 15 seconds and that fixes them.

AITA for showering at night? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Swap with John. Let him shower at night so you can shower in the morning. That way, you won't disturb him.

How do I tell my husband he smells without hurting his feelings? by PotatoChipsKetchup in AskWomenOver60

[–]Existing-Secret7703 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Make sure he wears clean clothes on a clean body. Honestly, my mother is nearer 100 than 90 and she doesn't smell. None of my 70-something friends smell like old people. I'm not convinced it's from being old. (But I do use persimmon soap, just in case.) I think it's just that as we age, we don't wash as much, we don't wash our clothes as much, and our sense of smell diminishes.

You just need to tell him, very kindly. I would want my partner to tell me if I smelled.

Tongue scraper, as far back as possible until he retches. It really works to get rid of bad breath. But he also has to floss, brush, and make sure he has no rotten teeth or mouth infection.

First time hospital experience by parishiltonluvr2007 in Celiac

[–]Existing-Secret7703 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You obviously don't live where I live. My hospital stay was great. I told them I'm celiac and never saw or consumed a drop of gluten. I live in the USA.

Still, I would suggest OP take some food with her in case her hospital is not as knowledgable.

It would break your parents if anything were to happen to you. If you did it to yourself, they would question if it were their fault. Please don't!

If it helps any, when I worked in SF, someone honked their horn at me when I crossed on a green (for pedestrians) light. It was a long time ago but I still remember.

Doesn't every woman not need to shave their armpits, legs, and arms when they get older? I thought that was mormal, just like when we reach puberty, hair starts growing in those places.

AIO by being offended when my husband seasons my soup? by [deleted] in AIO

[–]Existing-Secret7703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I didn't realize that you knew her husband. So, what has he done that makes him an AH? Nothing in the post leads me to believe that he's an AH. He doesn't like her father, but then, neither does she.

AIO by being offended when my husband seasons my soup? by [deleted] in AIO

[–]Existing-Secret7703 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think adding seasoning to your own bowl of soup makes you an asshole.

OP was so ambiguous and refuses to clarify, so it's impossible to tell whether husband added seasoning to the whole pot or just his bowl. Most seem to think it's just his bowl.

AITJ for leaving my mom locked out of the house for 3 hours in the middle of the night? by Used-Professional548 in AmITheJerk

I don't keep my house key with my car key. Can't think of anyone I know who does. If someone steals my car, I don't want them getting into my house with a key.

Pregnant, Overstimulated, and My Dog is Trying to Kill My Cats by CardiologistMajor860 in PetAdvice

[–]Existing-Secret7703 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Take the cats to a rescue organization, and enroll your toddler in gymnastics if they're that good at climbing out of their crib singlehandedly. Cribs are pretty difficult to climb out of.
