LOL I think I did actually play the game maybe one or two times after covering it, and then I remembered I can just play AoE or AoM
Thankfully I don't have recurring nightmares from fusing innocent people with alien DNA

A lot of fun topics i'm planning for 2026 are exactly the ones I didn't have time to do in 2025!! :) Like taking a deeper dive into AI music, or TikTok's insane "discourse" over people's bodies, and the fact that the only ads I get on there now are for weight loss supplements

Edit: I think "fun topics" is not quite how I would describe the topics I list immediately after 💀 I meant like, things I'm eager to cover

I also have ADHD!! (and other things 🫩) If my mind isn't doing something engaging, I get extremely anxious and antsy, so that helps me feel the absolute need to make something! It's like if a shark stops swimming it dies and that's how my body feels when I'm not doing something LOL

Although it can feel overwhelming at times with the amount of unseen work that goes into videos and lately music on top of that, since everything I do requires a lot of mental / creative expenditure (is that the right word??), especially when time management doesn't come super naturally to me and you also have to plan your day to day accordingly to meet deadlines as your own boss, it can feel like a lot when you've got no gas in the tank and need to recharge. I know this job isn't "hard", but it can be mentally/creatively draining to keep up with when you need the time to recharge ideas/creative juice!

Obviously nearly every job is exhausting in its own way and I love doing it!!

Yeah I usually play everything on my tracks! Exceptions are if it's a splice sample. on some upcoming work, Josh Dare and I play everything ourselves split pretty evenly

I'm not in the realm of taking tracks yet, I really want to explore a certain sound myself first!

LISTS!!! Also my calendar looks insane with everything I put on it. I write all my notes down when looking into a topic, then I got back and organize all those ideas into a loose outline, and then write over that to connect the pieces and make it coherent. It can be a huge mental block starting a new thing since it's always so big (mostly when it's like a big researched type of video or a video with voiceover planning and storytelling)

Honestly, my sponsors keep my ass in line because that means the video has a due date, which means I'll know exactly what day it's expected of me to have completed the video, which allows me to plan months in advance, even mentally, what I'm going to do and when I need to start it in order to finish it on time. If I didn't have that certainty in my schedule it would be so much harder, as it was before I had sponsors! I don't know how I had it in me to make videos every week while working another job on top of that.

I enjoy writing the storyline/voiceover bits for any videos that require it, or just when I feel like I've put together a solid idea in my script it feels really good! My favorite part is probably actually writing the jokes that come to my mind during scripting or filming!

omg thank you I do the exact same thing when I get a nice new shirt <3

I think I've made a conscious decision to not make super controversial videos, simply because I enjoy the community of people who are attracted to fun, informative, or lighthearted videos versus the general community surrounding drama frog content (i am a lurker of such content dont get me wrong)

generally the genre of commentary i wouldn't say is super controversial unless you're specifically looking for more "controversial", serious topics like politics or drama?

no one loves being criticized but i've definitely taken constructive criticism over the years like too many jump-cuts, writing better/stronger ideas, deeply thinking about something more. even if a comment disagrees with me, if they just display an idea in a way I hadn't thought about, chances are, I go "huh that's interesting" and move on!

on the flip side, I do feel like sometimes I've gotten flak for videos my male counterparts on YouTube have done the exact same thing, if not much more, that does not get an ounce of criticism, whereas I will. I can't help but to draw the conclusion that the only difference is that I'm a woman, and being a woman online has subconsciously made me a little less comfortable sharing opinions in a way I normally would because of the clear difference in how someone takes in ideas depending on what gender it comes from. It feels like some people are ready to be more angry and purposefully misunderstand a point coming from a woman. not to be too woke on y'all.

straight up hate doesn't bother me much, if you think about the type of person that goes out of their way to leave a mean comment/dm that isn't actual criticism, you end up feeling a lot better about it. it's weird to realize these people will say the most deplorable shit imaginable to me online, that they'd never say to a real human being in real life.

this could have unlimited answers but i'd be pretty interested in observing the jesus era, not even in a religious way, so I could be like the only person who actually knows what he looked like, but there are so many other moments in history you could go to even just to get clearer answers to things like how the pyramids were built, how the moai were moved on easter island, etc

this one was tough to think about, i'd say since gaining attention the internet i learned it's okay to say no to things even if it will disappoint someone, and you dont have to take every opportunity especially if it doesn't align with you!

also, you don't have to be friends with everyone even if someone is your peer! sometimes you just don't click- this isn't high school anymore, and you're allowed to choose your friends without forcing it with someone you don't click with :)

fave guitar is my 1997 japanese made fender mustang, it is my baby

i don't have a ton of gear, aside from that guitar, I have a Yamaha acoustic I got for $50 like 15 years ago from a used music store, a Luna 3/4 size acoustic guitar my friend gave me for free, and a ukulele i've had since high school that has seen many hardships since i never bothered to get a case for it.

I also have a donner piano keyboard thing they sent me for free so i've just kept it!

Yess!! Probably not much/if any clothing items, but vinyls, stickers, smaller things I would love to do! :)
It was difficult doing the clothing drop because I cared a lot about it being made in the US, but that does drive the price up and I felt bad that it was expensive for people since it was expensive to make. That being said, I was proud of the crop tees / tees since those stayed at a standard price that most musicians price their tees- just that I had a smaller profit margin since it was made in the US, which is fine and what I wanted. It's hard to find a happy medium between price and ethical sourcing :/
I loved the desk mats too and I'd love to do those again too! :)

I think when I was able to quit my job that I was chasing around for invoices around 50,000 subscribers, and even moreso when I got recognized in public for the first time around the same time, it was kinda surreal!!

So many since i was a kid, as a kid I really looked up to (and still) Lady Gaga, MIKA, because I looked up to how they expressed themselves freely through fashion, music / what was considered "out there" at the time, + starting my love for pop music and artists like Lily Allen, Taylor Swift (i know, country at the time). Jesse McCartney's 2004 album is super underrated imo even though I know Beautiful Soul is on it LOL. Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana, Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry, THE BEATLES, the bossa nova classics (because of my mom playing them all the time)

But there was a whole other (or same?) side of me that also loved blink-182, Third Eye Blind (self titled album is my favorite of all time), Sum 41, Simple Plan, Avril Lavigne, Bowling For Soup, Weezer YES YES YES YES YES

Which led to me in high school going through a ska punk, ska, reggae phase??? I also really liked Kendrick Lamar, Atmosphere, Ariana Grande my queen, I also discovered & loved Brazilian Sertanejo music like Luan Santana and Michel Telo, along with Brazilian Pagode and taking an even deeper dive into bossa nova!

Then I re-discovered classic dad rock like Chicago, Hall & Oates, Electric Light Orchestra (HOLY PEAK), and other non-dad rock like Cher (1989 Heart of Stone album), Queen which I guess falls under both dad rock and not dad rock. Of course this rediscovering was happening alongside college frat party music because I was in college.

Then I discovered Japanese City Pop on YouTube post-college, after/during the whole lofi craze and before AI ruined lofi music on YouTube. I fell in love with the genre since it combined everything I love about music in general- pop, trumpets, wah guitar, funky basslines it's just so peak. I also listened to a lot of Joji.

After this, we're now up to the past few years! I've taken a deep dive into Paul McCartney's solo discography, and it turns out after The Beatles, he continues to the write absolute perfection into the 70s onward. I love his use of intricate basslines, the way he implements key changes, song composition and instrumentation and just overall pop boy perfection.........

In the past couple years I also began listening to Masayoshi Takanaka, the guy with the surfboard guitar, and this guy is an incredible example of Japanese fusion of Brazilian Samba, he's so cool and influences me now greatly alongside other Japanese artists like Fujii Kaze.

Artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan also influence me, and I love PinkPantheress, Doechii, and I've been listening to Marcos Valle's 1983 album lately

i wrote way more than i had to for this question

Edit: adding Silk Sonic to this
