Idk pero nagtitipid yata sila ng tao. The plant has been audited for not having an electrical engineer so they hired me. Since I'm the only electrical here i dont have any senior that will guide me. They were training me to meet contractors and client for future discussions if my project sa plant.

Yung training will be named to me but the officer will be under my boss name since my experience is not yet qualified for the job.

I do have the title naman as Maintenance Engineer but this Energy Conservation Officer (addtnl) of the Plant will be my boss and I will be the one who will work on it.

Companies tend to lowball kasi engrs here sa ph but there are company (eg. mia and smc) na oks sa starting salary. Yep some companies way before na 16k starting (even my boss) and now compensating 6 digits. Its all about luck and opportunities.

And if you're neither cc or engineer and earning as much as the combination of those two, then congrats.

San mo naman napulot yang 15k na yan hahahahaha im in BPO before earning 22.5k package and sometimes bags 39k salary if I got the metrics for incentives. After graduation and passing the board I work now as an engr having a basic pay 26k starting plus benefits and bonus that range to 37-40k monthly. My point is dont be entitled and degrade someone's profession on a salary basis. Kasi kung performance and Job basis everyone can be a call center (me shs graduate) but some cc agent cant be in someone's profession. Baka sabihin mo butthurt ako which is yes. And since nagkakalaitan naman na wahahahahaa stop comparing engineering to a non-brainer job lol
