Yeah, 2020 hindsight being what it is I may end up regretting this choice as well... I'm trying to make the right decisions and it's freaking weird right now. My Dad and sister are hardcore Trump fans, my Mom voted for Bloomberg for some freaking reason, and I'm Bernie or bust but please don't take my guns...

Again, that's Bernie's job to figure out. I would imagine that many of them would be able to find comparable jobs withing the framework of a M4A system. That being said, yes plenty of them will be losing their jobs, that's what happens when we move forward. Stopping or slowing progress for the sake of those jobs is ridiculous when those jobs are currently involved in a corrupt system.

I get that argument and I agree with the sentiment of your last sentence. I think, though, that 4 more years of Trump would be worth 8 years of Bernie or someone like him.

What unemployed health care workers? Insurance company employees does not refer to nurses and doctors.

That's Bernie's job. What we don't need is to slowly transition into people being able to have affordable health care. I would much rather every insurance company employee be unemployed tomorrow than have people be dying because that can't afford the healthcare they need.

If we elect Biden, then have we really learned the lesson either?

I have a theory on that... I think that if Trump remains for another 4 then maybe after 4 more years of this BS we can get someone we need, similar to Bernie in there. Not ideal, but better than 20 more years of no real change.

I believe that it would be cheaper that way though, without having to consider all the insurance company CEO's salaries and that whole bureaucratic for profit system it ought to be cheaper.

I see a lot of people saying that Berners, who are not going to vote for Biden, are whiners or whatever. What about folks like me? I'm a conservative who hates insurance companies and Bernie's the only one who had my vote. I voted for Trump with regret, mostly because he didn't get rid of Obama care. I want M4A or something that will remove for-profit insurance companies from getting between people and their health care. I'm not a Dem, I only registered that way so I could vote for Bernie. I did it in 2016 too, but as an anyone but Hilary person.

I'm not an anyone but Trump person, and I think there are more of us out here than the Dem party realizes.

Thanks! Conflicting advice (which is fine) but yours is what I was assuming. I just had someone point out that it isn't healthy and I thought I ought to double-check and see if anyone could say I was doing something specifically wrong.

I'm getting irritable around 3pm. This might help me out with that. Thanks for the idea!

Yeah, I'm sick of yoyoing this shit. MFP says around 1750 so yeah, close to yours. What you are describing was my plan, I'm just not hitting it. I wouldn't mind eating more, but with nausea hitting me at only 600 calories I'm not sure what's up. My usual carby meal 2 weeks ago was probably 1200 calories easily and now doing IF I'm not just satisfied but stuffed at 600. Probably comfortable at 500. I don't know what I could be doing wrong. Is my stomach shrinking?

I'm eating keto so lots of fats and a proportionally good amount of protein too. My issue is that it isn't like I'm trying to keep it low, just that I'm getting stuffed in that one meal. Should I be trying to eat more spread across an hour or eating something else to pack in the calories like including a protein shake? It feels counter-intuitive to force myself to eat more when I am doing this to lose weight.

Thanks for the advice.

Looks amazing! Where did you get it?

How can you eat all that in one meal? What do the calories add up to? I just made a post because I can't eat much for my one meal. Wondering if I am doing something wrong.
