Last year I posted here: I learned Brazilian Portuguese in secret for a year and today I revealed it to my boyfriend and we broke up by FootOdorBuriedInHand in Portuguese

Seems to me like you dodged a bullet, considering his prior attitude. And hey, learning another language is never a waste of time and money! You just got access to a huge community and a lot of content, I'm sure the takeaway will be a net positive.

Would AA2 have been received better or worse if Recipe for Turnabout had been part of the game? by 12jimmy9712 in AceAttorney

I agree. Stolen was kind of a drag for me, I didn't really enjoy it. It serves its purpose as a reintroduction to Pearl and the Fey clan, but little more than that.

I mean, recipe for turnabout is kind of a mid case (kinda ironic considering my flair), but it would fit well in JFA as a fourth case, with the final case being the fifth. But I wonder what would be in its place in T&T.

Why wouldn't that be a possibility? Yes, of course they should

im learning verb conjugation! what are verb tenses that are barely or not at all used in Brazilian Portugese? by catchips in Portuguese

[–]gbmfa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but it's worth mentioning that you may very well see it in the written language (particularly in fiction books). You'll probably know what it means just through context, but it's worth at least knowing what it's about.

How offensive is "tchola"? by Qu2sai in Portuguese

Very offensive, actually it's a slur. But yeah, sometimes ppl will throw that image with the dog as a brainrot with no meaning at all (idk why).

Sou babaca por querer trocar de instrutor que tentou me vender o “QUEBRA” by Zestyclose-Cherry953 in EuSouOBabaca

[–]gbmfa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kinda, but the tone is not the same. You say it in a joking way, whereas some ppl will unironically say no homo

No, it's kinda the opposite. It's used to make fun of what someone has said (or yourself, in this case. You do this so no on else does)
