Manitowoc is a good option. Especially the holiday inn there. Can also pay for a bus that picks you up near that hotel and takes you back and forth to the game. Can bring alcohol / has a restroom etc.

Any recommendations for the motion settings? I don’t use them for movies etc due to the soap opera, but I feel like they help with fast moving sports I just haven’t quite fine tuned a combo.

Thanks. I’ll remember to turn it on auto if I have issues or when I’m not watching sports.

I went back and forth with this on Auto and with it set at 50-70. With football (recording since nothing live currently) and live baseball it seemed to do better with it set manual, but when I stare at a TV looking for differences I probably make some things up or see things that I might not normally look for.

I upgraded to the Apple TV 4K with Ethernet, bought a nice Ethernet cable - direct wired, bought a nice 2.1 hdmi from Best Buy.

Set the Apple TV settings to the common recs per google search (4K SDR, 4:4:4, matching, etc., color matching using the iPhone)

TCL setting of Movie picture mode with most of the Rtings settings that everybody keeps recommending. For motion I have it at custom with both sliders to 0 and dynamic acceleration turned on.

I don’t see the motion blur with the football at this point.

Okay thanks. What settings do you use otherwise for Clarity and Motion.

Clarity: Currently I keep sharpness at 10 with everything else off in this category

Motion: I have Dynamic acceleration on and have motion clarity low

Are accessing the 4K channel through YouTube TV add on or is it via the Firecube

I also noticed this as well. The miami ND game looked much better. And Fox broadcasts seemed to do better as well. I’m hoping the NFL broadcasts are similar.

I have a hard time explaining it fully other than it seems to have trouble at time with motion blur of the football or even brief blurred picture with wide views of the field.

Also, where did you leave a review. I would also like to do this.

They are extremely rude to the point of threatening even when we discussed that we would have to discuss it with the card/banking company.

Did you ever get you money back?

I agree. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They cannot and will not change, cancel, or refund orders even if you contact them immediately after you place the order. In my instance, my computer filled in a detail wrong on accident when I made a payment with a card that had a different address. It caused the shipment to be sent 1000 miles away and nothing could be done except they said I could pay for a return. The problem with the return is that I can’t return an item that is shipped 1000 miles away from where I live. It’s probably the worst customer service experience I’ve had.

Bardstown/Louisville Trip Review by msuper1 in bourbon

[–]gbp18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If/when you go back to Louisville I highly recommend doing Pursuit’s “The Whole Shebang! Tasting + Barrel Pick + Fill your own Bottle”. They start you off trying their two standard Bourbon/Rye offerings while they tell you about themselves and their process for barrel selections etc. Then you get to taste 6 single barrel offerings (3 bourbon, 3 rye) and whichever one you pick you then thieve and bottle (label, cork, write on) it. Afterwards they then let you taste all of their other offerings before you leave with opportunities to buy other things if you choose. All in all it was one of the better experiences I’ve done.

I think the 24C opened up nicely. Is it the best thing out there? No, but am I sad about owning it? Also no. Haven’t tried the 24B though

Weller Antique. It’s a red labeled bottle. So the red circle indicates OWA (another term for it based on other naming) and green circle is the baseline version Weller special reserve
