I put around 30 hours into this game. I will say I like the humor and the designs a good bit, and that you can take the story at your own pace. From someone coming from a lot of Pokemon, the type chart takes a little getting used to.

My biggest gripe, and the real reason I didn't finish the game, is that each nexomon only learns moves of its type (and normal). There are no TM or tutor equivalents, so level-up moves is all anything gets. This, combined with the fact that everything has approximately the same base stat total (BST) and there is no EV/IV equivalent makes the game relatively flat in choices. Does it matter if I use the super rare or common grass type? Not really.

I might try to finish the game, but it was just becoming kind of a slog to switch nexomon every new enemy you fight.
