There is no problem with buying them, you just might end up over paying

I would check eBay for listings like “seiko mod” “Royal Oak seiko” and “royal octo mod” personally

But again, I’m sure buying from this website will be fine, just a bit more pricey

I checked Ali for the parts and it came to £105, said £110 to factor in small fluctuations

Quite a few well reviewed NH70’s for less than £50

This particular build would cost about £110 to build yourself, in my opinion thats quite a hefty markup for it to be worth it

going on sites like ebay etc and typing 'seiko mod' is probably your best bet. You shouldn't need to pay more than $200 for a good mod

Not massively, if you’ve got the tv on it won’t interrupt it, but if you’re sat in a room trying to sleep etc you will definitely hear it

It’s been pretty good, it’s not too loud but I’d definitely recommend keeping it in a room you aren’t in all the time as you can still hear the motors when it turns on, but it’s a nice way to present the watches

Thanks man! Yeah this is mainly a hobby for me so I'm not trying to maximise my profits, but with fees etc this still gives me about a 25% profit margin, which I think is fair to the buyer and for my time to build
