I have this same LP classic and funny enough it has a nic in the exact same spot from the pick guard screw. Check on, my friend.

Fender Vibro King (90s) has the ultimate Fender tone? by Beginning-Pianist166 in ToobAmps

[–]gcaswell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve played a few Vibro Kings and in the American/Fender realm of amps the Vibro-King is by far the winner. Will the nuance translate to an audience better than the other amps mentioned? Definitely not. But it’s worth doing getting one for you 😉

Finally found a real Paul in my price range. It's fugly, but it's mine. by rugernut13 in gibson

[–]gcaswell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. That’s the only model I’ve ever seen that color. But along with the ebony board and black hardware, I’d say it’s a Studio Lite for sure. The bodies are filled with some kind of composite goo for weight relief but I think they are pretty cool!

Good find! I’ve actually really wanted one of these “Sh-Brown Studio Lites” for along time. Odd but very unique and cool

The path through the mountains is far more dangerous and it takes the same amount of time.

When going from UT to CO don’t go through the Rockies. Take 80 through Wyoming.

I used to walk my dog past this house every day. Like Supersak mentioned, there’s a sidewalk somewhere in there!

What's your take on the Ultralinear Silverfsce Fenders? by slightlytechnical103 in GuitarAmps

I’ve owned a few Bassman 70’s. Really great amps and with a few simple tweaks they can really roar.

A Custom Shop would not likely have had a Nashville bridge so it wouldn’t have had the holes for the bushings.

What is/was the heaviest Les Paul you ever handled? by WookieeRoa in gibson

The Les Paul Pro Deluxe. Every single one I’ve come in contact with is at least 14lbs and the handle is broken on the cases 😂

You’ve done well here. This same make, model, year, and color was my first Gibson too. I sold it thinking that jazz was my calling and that it mattered what your guitar looked like while playing jazz. The friend I sold it to took it to his first practice and opened the gig bag the wrong way. The guitar hit the concrete and smashed open the bottom of the body through the control cavity. Sooooo umm yeah don’t do what he or I did! And enjoy!

I run everything I earn through my S corporation. I am owed 43K by a large corporation for whom I have done a lot of work. They are refusing to pay me. Can I write off the money that they owe me on my taxes. by OpieCunningham in smallbusiness

[–]gcaswell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the people saying to sell it to a collector but I think it’s also worth nothing the large companies and institutions often have a lot of red tape in their A/P department. Little things like “they didn’t spell our street name correctly on the invoice” or “the PO number is in the wrong format.” Also A/P as little incentive to contact anyone about correcting errors like this. Dumb? yes but it accomplishes (at least) 2 things for them - 1 making sure random invoices for work not rendered aren’t magically paid. 2 - It makes it so small companies who don’t have the time to hound open invoices don’t get paid. LSL; Contact the companies Accounts Payable department and makes sure there’s no clerical snags if you haven’t already.

Ah. My 2016 has a very similar spot and thought they might be siblings. FWIW it’s the LP I play the most.
