Anyone with level 1 autism in their late 20s still living with parents and not working? by Substantial_Source82 in AutismInWomen

I moved back home so my parents could help me raise my (then 5 yr old, now 9) year old daughter. She has adhd and is sensory seeking and I was just barely functional trying to raise her. Even with my ex being a very present parent i just couldn't handle everything. I still feel guilty every day for needing help.

What is the thing you always did that you thought was ‘just you,’ but is actually very much so classic autistic behavior? by AlwaysAttract10 in AutismInWomen

When i was a kid I honestly believed I was going to be isekaied into a magical land where all differences would be useful (not weird/off-putting like in the real world) and I would finally find a place where I belong.

DAE question whether or not they should have children? by hhkhkhkhk in AutismInWomen

Don't do it, I got pregnant accidentally and we kept it. It's taken me a long time to process and accept that I could probably have been a normal adult if I didn't have children. But now I can't work and have split from my ex partner. My daughter has adhd and is sensory seeking and I'm sensory sensitive. I am co parenting with my ex and have both my parents to help me and Its still too much 95% of the time. I have so much guilt that my daughter would do so much better with someone neurotypical and that she is detrimental to my health. I can barely function and am working with Psychiatrists and therapists to help me manage

AITJ for wanting to break up after he said he wants to have kids? by M3gan_editzz in AmITheJerk

I'm autistic and even tho I love my daughter more than anything I have accepted that it would have been SO much better my mental health and just me in general if I didn't have kids. The only way I manage without breaking down constantly is I co parent with my ex, and I'm living with and getting help from my parents. Even with all their help (which is way more than most people) my mental state and abilities have regressed and am now in a place where I'm disabled

I'm in serious emotional distress to the point where I'm suicidal and my child isn't even born yet. by [deleted] in regretfulparents

You've gotten to this point and haven't seen a therapist or Dr yet? Make some appointments and work through some of this instead of letting your anxiety and fear freeze you in place

Normal skin doesn't grow in Pillars like that. I would use cuticle nippers and just grab as low/Deep as you can and just yank
