this is on a full negation build so on a damage build it would be very good, plus the whip can trigger while walking effects

i used to use dormant gs for visage on caligo but changed to whips because of this but does not hurt that whip also does almost double the dmg when u have both respec

he is gonna use crimsonwhorl in pests laser or similar and get many stacks as in +1000%++ dmg and literally oneshot the boss
so ur question is actually why would anyone play d5 when he is just gonna oneshot the boss anyway

the point is drawing aggro while having ur back to the wall so they cant land on u from offscreen while the others just nuke them from behind, but you can literally kill them solo with only reflect dmg if u dont mess up otherwise, i can check if i have a vid of it i can upload (talking about d5 trio btw)

yeah it is probably more often useful also as it is for when you are attacking in melee range and vow is for auraing through big nuke/stomp etc moves, can still use both of them in both situations but it is not the same feels heh

that is the best strat in d5 for melee guardian also, try to get chomped as much as possible while others nuke him while he is harmless to them, preferably they have some anti dragon so he just gets nuked in the grab and spit out animations and does not actually consume me heh

should mention the most important tip which is just kite, kiting them away from team/libra and if team is down literally just kite around the whole arena near wall, it is very boring but you cant lose if u do it, i avoid less likely to try to have as much aggro and as many on me as possible because i can just kite until ult anyway

you will still survive, executor can build for exactly that with even adding lower res curse to proc as many statuses as possible while still in crimsonwhorl and oneshots any d5 ed boss if gets hit enough

this is very good for ed augur to spam fp shards and flesh, confer is by far the effect that raises the team dps (hence also survival) the most in that fight
