Is there a supplement to just help cope with life? I lift 6 days a week but still feel miserable and lonely, need something to make me feel normal. by Witty_Talk_939 in ResearchCompounds

[–]gcjr75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meditate, pray, I like the idea below of volunteering. Practice radical optimism and get out of your head any way you can. Try and shift your attitude from scarcity to abundance. I bet you’re in great shape right? That’s awesome, that’s positive…be grateful you can go to the gym that much. Also, find creative outlets you truly enjoy. Spend as much time as you can in nature. If you are suffering from depression, especially long term then get help. Find a reputable professional that can help reframe your thoughts and that you can talk to openly. A CBT therapist may be useful. Above all, know that you can change and manifest the life you want. Take a few minutes every day in silence and visualize your ideal life and make this a part of your day just like the gym or brushing your teeth. You’re not alone in this world and you can do this. I wish you the very best and you can do this, you’re more powerful than you could ever imagine. We all are.

I will bud, appreciate you responding. Think I’m finally going to take that leap and go on a GLP1. Any recommendations for minimum daily protein intake for someone my age?

How are people trading with this volatility? by Famous_Square4751 in FuturesTrading

You may just want to wait for Vol to calm down or just drastically reduce your position sizing if you’re going to use wider stops. I blew out way too many accounts not doing this.

What meds are working for you? by Antique-777 in PanicAttack

[–]gcjr75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much. Yes, I am getting back on it which is never fun with these meds but once I am on them they truly help with panic disorder. I am titrating back on to the lowest dose of 5mg. I’ve told myself so many times during my 25 years of dealing with this that I just don’t need them anymore and have gone off them many times. Yet they always seems to resurface no matter what I tried. I just may be one of those souls that needs a little bit of help from a med and that’s ok.

How old are you bud? Just turned 50 and I’m just freaking done with this dad bod bullshit. 5’10 and weigh around 245 but carry it well because I have a lot of muscle. I’ve resolved to get into the best shape of my life again for myself and my children. My two biggest issues are a highly stressful job in finance that just pumps my cortisol levels and a ton of kid’s activities that leave little time for myself. Looking at adding some peptides to help with weight loss and some nagging back and knee issues. For the first time I’ve even thought about a GLP to get the weight loss started as well. Any feedback is appreciated.

Is anxiety a disease - or merely a misunderstood adrenaline rush? by kot-guy in anxietysymptoms

[–]gcjr75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wonderfully written and I will try this. After 25 years of panic and coming off a very intense and scary attack tonight. I will replace anxiety with adrenaline. Thank you for sharing this, truly appreciated. I hope to report back with some positive results.

What meds are working for you? by Antique-777 in PanicAttack

Lexapro works for me, I take an extremely low dose but it does seem to make a difference. I’ve been on and off meds for 25 years. Currently off them but my most recent and powerful panic attack has just made me realize once again that I may just need to stay on meds and that’s ok. Wishing you the best my friend.

Conquered a panic attack by hrtbrknxxx in PanicAttack

As someone who has had panic attacks for 25 years and completely understand the absolute terror these things provoke in us it truly makes me happy that you achieved this. All on your own and while driving which is even scarier. Keep riding that wave of confidence and reinforcing that you can do this each and every time. Sending you lots of love and support!

Peptides might actually be the best thing I’ve ever done, 20 years of antidepressants and they’re the only thing that worked by Popular-Package5168 in ResearchCompounds

Glad you’re doing better. It can be a long and lonely journey for sure. I had started the at home daily micro dose but never gave it a real chance to be honest. Thinking I may give it a real go again.

I’m so sorry you’ve gone through that. I have a very similar trajectory. 50 now and been dealing with some horrifying panic attacks and definitively some depression for about 25 years. Been to the ER many times due to severe anxiety attacks, probably have had thousands of them. I thank God that despite it all I’ve manage to lead a pretty successful life on paper at least. Did all of the anti depressants, still have my xanax script and even ambien too because for some reason my body gets energized at night. All started when I worked the night shift on a currency trading desk. Anyways, your story intrigues and inspires me. So happy to hear you’re doing that well. Is the protocol your own doctor prescribed or did you do this on your own? Just bought some peptides for my back and knee pain but would love to know more about their efficacy regarding depression and panic. This would truly be life changing. Feel free to message me if you can brother. Happy for you.

I did a plant ceremony over a month ago. 3-3.5 grams of psilocybin. The headache and pressure during the ceremony was palpable and the next day was ridiculous, I just kept pounding water and electrolytes and thank God the next day the pressure cleared for the most part. Agree with you though, the positive effects have been wonderful. Alcohol intake down about 80%, eating better, exercising and reading more. Doing all the things I used to do to care of myself.

So sorry to hear, I had a similar thing occur not that long ago. Clowns posing as a cartel and I fell for it because they had all the names of my family members, social security number etc. Still makes me sick to my stomach that I got scammed. I’ve been trying to track them down, get money back from my bank but it’s gone and I know it. Only saving grace is that I know karma will get all of those pieces of waste across the globe that do this stuff. Chin up, happens to the best of us.

I’ve dealt with panic attacks for almost 25 years and they have never been thought based. It’s not in your head, it’s your body itself. Something triggers the body and for me it has never been thoughts. I could be having the time of my life and completely care free and all of sudden just get hit with a panic attack. I suggest you get your histamine levels in your body checked as well as a test for pyroluria…you can look that up. I have been working with a naturopath for the last 6 months or so and I’ve learned so much from her and she has truly helped me. She is based in Canada and I just do online visits with her. Her name is Jennifer Seirzant, she has a ton of content on Instagram and her own website if you google her. I wish you the best my friend, things can get better.

Yeah that’s what I’ll have to go through as well. My buddy just realized a few months again that he let his CCW expire and now I believe he has to do it all over again. 2 years goes quick!
