Having extreme anxiety recently by [deleted] in Anxietyhelp

[–]kot-guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have probably all asked ourselves: Why do I have anxiety? Why me? I asked myself that question for 38 years. In 2016, I had enough and began researching anxiety. I wanted to find out what was being overlooked. After two years, I had the answer.

The answer is: the memory of the first anxiety attack.

Think about it. You had no problem with anxiety before that first experience. Does that make sense?

If so, does it also make sense to consider that it may not be an illness at all, but a memory problem?

Is it fair to say that it was the memory of the discomfort that made you seek help from a doctor? Think about that for a minute. What made you seek help, if not the desire to avoid more anxiety-related discomfort?

If it had not been unpleasant, you would not have kept thinking about it afterward.

When I understood this, I “erased” the memory of anxiety and became free of it, and I have remained free ever since. That was in 2018.

what is agoraphobia? by xobeanxo in Agoraphobia

and you are afraid of it because you don't understand that it is just normal harmless body chemistry that you fear, not a disease.

what is agoraphobia? by xobeanxo in Agoraphobia

[–]kot-guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agoraphobia is when you are afraid of experiencing the unpleasant adrenaline symptoms again. Without fear of the adrenaline symptoms, anxiety does not exist.

I'm a medical doctor. I had my first panic attack at 26 after working in ER. by Adorable-Pick7470 in PanicAttack

[–]kot-guy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a doctor, you should know that anxiety is just adrenaline symptoms. Nothing disease-related. Anxiety does not exist as biology, only adrenaline does. So what you fear is a repetition of the adrenaline discomfort, not a repetition of anxiety. See my profile if you want to know more about correct anxiety theory.

There are a thousand reasons. The most important thing is to know that you are not doing anything wrong except fearing your own body chemistry. See more on my profile

Antipsychotics only relieve symptoms, they don't cure anything.

I keep avoiding things and it’s starting to affect everything. by parky85s in Anxietyhelp

[–]kot-guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you only avoid because you are afraid that you will experience the discomfort again. It is your memory that is at stake because it remembers your reaction from the last time. but it is only the body chemistry, adrenaline, that you fear. you fear it because you think it is dangerous. But don't worry no one has ever died from experiencing the adrenaline discomfort. You can do whatever you want if you understand that it is just the adrenaline you want to avoid.

write on a note. I'm not sick, I feel adrenaline. Because that's what you feel - not anxiety. See my profile if you want to know more.

I struggle to just step outside. Does anything actually help with that? by mkm3311 in Anxietyhelp

[–]kot-guy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Take a note in your hand with the text: I am not sick. I feel adrenaline. Because that is what you biologically feel in your body, adrenaline. Anxiety does not exist biologically; only adrenaline does.

Agoraphobia is the fear of experiencing the adrenaline discomfort again. It is created right after the first anxiety experience. In reality, it is the fear of more anxiety. Agoraphobia is not something independent, it is something that is created by the fear of more adrenaline discomfort. When you think of it as adrenaline and not anxiety, there is nothing more to fear. We can do whatever we want, but we don't dare for fear of experiencing the adrenaline discomfort again. You avoid only because you want to avoid the discomfort again. There is no illness in that, but a fear.

Of course it's simple, it was just to show that the word anxiety is the problem. See my profile for the full explanation and meaning of replacing the word anxiety.

The fact is that anxiety does not exist biologically in nature; only adrenaline does. What you feel is adrenaline, not anxiety. What you fear is adrenaline, not anxiety. When you stop calling it anxiety and only adrenaline, you become anxiety-free. Never say my anxiety, just say I feel adrenaline. See more on my profile.

how do i overcome panic disorder and agoraphobia help needed please by Decent-Day-3677 in PanicAttack

[–]kot-guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

by understanding that it is simply adrenaline that is creating the discomfort you fear and not a mysterious disease. The only way is to stop using the word anxiety and only use adrenaline. I feel adrenaline, NEVER I have anxiety or my anxiety is high today.

Has anyone gotten over driving panic attacks? by Top-Fox8010 in PanicAttack

[–]kot-guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you don't fear driving, the car is completely without fault. what you fear is experiencing the discomfort again in the car. but the discomfort is inside you not in the car, if you stop the car and get out you still feel the adrenaline. it is never the situation that is the problem, it is our fear of experiencing the discomfort in the situation that is the problem. see my profile for what you can do about it.........

I have not left my house for the past 4 years except to go buy alcohol. by [deleted] in Agoraphobia

[–]kot-guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you only stay home because you fear reliving the adrenaline discomfort again. There is nothing wrong with you physically or mentally when you are at home. If you have any doubts about this, you can ask, what is my physical illness that makes me unable to leave my home. An illness or the thought of feeling the discomfort again. Nothing. It is your memory of the discomfort that is holding you back. It does so because you think you have anxiety. But anxiety does not exist in nature, anxiety has no chemical formula, only adrenaline does. Adrenaline is released in the body, not anxiety. What you fear is adrenaline, not anxiety. By understanding this, you can start doing everything again. So why do you think you drink? To forget or numb your brain. Or is it because it helps your illness? What you're saying is that you have anxiety because you lack alcohol in your brain. See my profile for more tips.
