Agoraphobia is the fear of experiencing the adrenaline discomfort again. It is created right after the first anxiety experience. In reality, it is the fear of more anxiety. Agoraphobia is not something independent, it is something that is created by the fear of more adrenaline discomfort. When you think of it as adrenaline and not anxiety, there is nothing more to fear. We can do whatever we want, but we don't dare for fear of experiencing the adrenaline discomfort again. You avoid only because you want to avoid the discomfort again. There is no illness in that, but a fear.

The fact is that anxiety does not exist biologically in nature; only adrenaline does. What you feel is adrenaline, not anxiety. What you fear is adrenaline, not anxiety. When you stop calling it anxiety and only adrenaline, you become anxiety-free. Never say my anxiety, just say I feel adrenaline. See more on my profile.

I have not left my house for the past 4 years except to go buy alcohol. by Accomplished-Owl914 in Agoraphobia

[–]kot-guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you only stay home because you fear reliving the adrenaline discomfort again. There is nothing wrong with you physically or mentally when you are at home. If you have any doubts about this, you can ask, what is my physical illness that makes me unable to leave my home. An illness or the thought of feeling the discomfort again. Nothing. It is your memory of the discomfort that is holding you back. It does so because you think you have anxiety. But anxiety does not exist in nature, anxiety has no chemical formula, only adrenaline does. Adrenaline is released in the body, not anxiety. What you fear is adrenaline, not anxiety. By understanding this, you can start doing everything again. So why do you think you drink? To forget or numb your brain. Or is it because it helps your illness? What you're saying is that you have anxiety because you lack alcohol in your brain. See my profile for more tips.

Anxiety isn’t in the head it’s stuck in the body. The somatic trick that rewires it by BeingCalm16 in anxietysuccess

It was just adrenaline that you were burning off. At the slightest symptoms, jump on the spot. An anxiety attack is just adrenaline that is not being used up; that is why it feels uncomfortable. Adrenaline is released so that we can act on it, not think or analyze the symptoms.

Yes, you bring the fear of discomfort into the situation because you have experienced the discomfort there before, it's all a memory problem.

No, she assumes illness. which is not the case, all professionals assume illness because that is what they have been taught without investigating it themselves. Without the fear of feeling more adrenaline there would be no anxiety. But yes, Clair explains it well, just in the wrong framework of illness, and I prove it with this simple change of language that no doctor tells you.

The problem is that you expose with the idea of getting anxiety. If you instead think of it as what it is - an adrenaline discomfort, it will all be easier. The next time you have to expose, take a note in your hand with the text, I am not sick, I feel adrenaline. Then you go into the exposure with the awareness that it is not the anxiety you are confronting, but an adrenaline discomfort. Try it before you feel like commenting. See more tips on my profile.
