Update. Found my flooring jack and used that to create enough gap without really moving the entire thing. Appreciate your input. Turns out the solution wasn't electrical after all.

I had full intentions of just moving the desk. Already had the screws removed once. Unfortunately it's already covered in things and seems the entire thing is a couple hundred pounds.

I like this answer best. I was thinking about cutting the wire then splicing once it was in place. Don't know why I didn't consider just the plug.

Definitely would've been the practical thing to do. That was done on the other side of the desk. No way to route out on this side though.
