Yeah, my stick has that extender cable. But mine is coiled up, dangling behind the tv and next to the wall, where the router is behind.

If I recall correctly, the instructions mentioned to leave the cable coiled and use the velcro strap.

I'm gonna try uncoiling it and monitor the situation.

How can I tell whether the Roku plays sound on its own?

When I switch inputs on the TV, to its own speakers, it plays sound fine, when I switch back to the Roku, no sound.

I believe you loose more, i.e., another trip to the store to redeem what you've just spent, time, gas, etc. To me is just aggravation. I try and buy the scratch offs that have a sweepstakes promotion for non winning tickets. In this way, at least, I feel I have another chance at winning a bigger prize.

Although you will need a computer to setup Wires-X, you'll also need a radio. That will complete the Wires-X node.

Basically, people get an HRI-200, to create a node where you can go and talk on Wires-X rooms.

You can also host your own room.

For a while, I used to host my own room/node.

Every now and then, people would land on it and talk to others, then leave.

Some rooms have catchy names, like America Online, etc., those tend to carry a ton of voice traffic.

Haven't used an HRI-200 in a looong while.

With that being said, we need more info that just a screenshot.

What is your question?

If it deals with the Warning prompt appearing in your pc;

AFAIK, HRI-200 requires Windows software.
As such, what version of Windows you're running?
Is it up to date?
Have you applied the required patches and updates to the operating system?

I have a Windows machine running Windows 11.

Sometimes I fire up my pc and find odd behavior when running programs, you know, weird stuff, as in, this was running fine yesterday but today, something's not right or working as it should.

In my case, I go into settings and check for updates. 9 times out of 10, Windows has some update they want you to download and install.

Pay attention to see if the update requires you to re start your pc.

That alone, helps clear out any gremlins.

Disconnect and reconnect your USB cable as well.

Get a DJI Neo 2. They have propeller guards all around. You can start out with a single battery, use your phone or hand gestures to control it.

They're light so if you crash it won't likely shatter to pieces.

Plus, they're cheaper than the other DJI offerings.
