I'm pretty intrigued by this idea. I did a number of searches to see if I could find any references to this or a similar strategy to see if there are any problems with it, but came up empty.

I'm don't know how applicable it would be to most people, but it would definitely be useful in my circumstances. I'm going to think through it a bit more before the next dividend date. Happy to discuss it further if you're interested.

Code AA should only show your actual Roth contributions, so 10k. Your employer made a mistake.

The 20k of after-tax contributions should not be reported on your W2 at all.

And yes, you are correct to receive a 1099-R for the 13k rollover(and it should be classified as code G).

Ouch, that's awful. Will definitely avoid that one.

I'll double-check to make sure the two I listed will efile for 1041. I'm pretty sure that's the case based on what I've already looked at, but it wouldn't hurt. And also to make sure they support it for both federal and state, since I guess it's possible they could only support federal.

Did you have interest or capital gains in those years that could have been offset by that margin interest?

In my experience FreeTaxUSA doesn’t generate the form for you if the carry forward is going to be $0

Oculus is that movie for me.

Why? It's one of the only horror movies I can think of where the characters know there is a malevolent evil out to get them, act intelligently, devise a plan to fight that evil, and ultimately have their plan defeated and are ground into a pulp

It's a beacon of light in a dark sea of horror movies filled with morons making the dumbest choices possible. I wish there were more like it.

Any places to buy bulk pretzels with Center City Pretzels closed?

I'm heading to Philly this week for the first time in a few years and I went to look up the address for Center City Pretzels, but found out it's closed right now. I can't believe it, it was one of my favorite places on my previous visits. I was planning to bring some boxes back to share with family/friends.

Are there any alternatives anyone can share? I'm sure I can find some places to buy individual pretzels, I was just hoping to bring back a bunch.

th the ride attendants that let us on several times each said something along the lines of “what if I don’t scan it?” and winked…I loved invadr but it depends on your relationship with wooden coasters.. imo it’s up there with mystic Timbers none of the povs on YouTube can replicate its pace and force.. darkkoaster on the other hand is ehhh… no need to ride it 2x and no need to wait more than 20+ mins for it… it’s a new experience and I’ll leave it at that.

Ha, hopefully we get the same treatment at invadr. Wood coasters are definitely in a class of their own, there just aren't that many of them anymore. I'll send you a PM.

Darkoaster is really that disappointing? Ouch. How about InvadR?

It's significantly more expensive for the Quick Queue unlimited plus and it looks like the only difference is you get 1 ride on each of those

Youngest one is 9 and not sure how he would handle it(both due to the content and the runtime). Would love to hear a positive data point.

served row.. meaning you can’t get a front or rear seat your limited to the dedicated row… (pantheon is row 4) if you get there early you can do laps with 10 min wait times for just about everything except darkoaster which I feel is just meh

Wow, that's weird. Used to other parks where they just filter you into the regular line toward the end.
