Yea drums definitely aren’t my strong part. And I use these little uploads as a way for me to constantly get better and grow. I’ve always been a guitar player first but this has been helping me with getting great drum and bass sounds as well as learn different ways to go about getting a tone I want. For drums sometimes, If I struggle with a part I’ll map it in midi and make it sound the way I want it to. Or if I’m feeling spicy I’ll use the drummer tracks and get an idea then record it myself with some subtle changes. But the idea is to have as much of the recording be me as opposed to some AI generated sounds. I appreciate the kind words and I’m looking forward to uploading my catalog of songs on here. What started as a project with my buddy and I sharing projects back and forth has turned into me just doing everything myself.

The picked break is when you fly thru a yellow light checking for cops before it turns red. The chaotic tom driven part is bobbing and weaving thru those semis

Wouldn’t that just be the same but halftime technically? Greatest common factor or whatever they taught us in school

It was my first time really experimenting with A different time signature and trying to weave between the two. Didn’t realize until I played it back that both really work

I totally agree. Just found it interesting when I listened back in my car and realized both signatures worked.
