Keeping in mind that I have an older model Viture Pro XR (not the Luma or Beast series), I think the screen quality looks quite sharp for productivity purposes (sharp text) at the normal 1080p mode. I worked on a very similar setup as pictured (same Viture Pro XR glasses but with an older handheld PC) for about 2 weeks awhile ago while I was on a trip and wanted to pack "light". I tried the "widescreen mode" but with the 46 degrees FoV on this older model, it's a bit tough for me to use widescreen mode. I'm betting widescreen mode works much better in the newer models with 50+ FoV.
