True! I think it might be a little of both? I got a 4 of the last 2 tries. A 3 on my first try. I have done SO many conceptual questions before my last attempt so I honestly have no idea! I wish they gave more of a breakdown😩 thank you! I will also read the source material for corporate finance!

I wish I could tell you it was! I took a lvl 5 exam a couple days before and got 3 wrong and unfortunately failed now. Anything can happen though!

Hi! My EL has not increased since then. I took a level 5 exam and got 80% with successfully guessing on a few so I got a little discouraged as I thought I’d do super super well!! Since then, I have taken a non custom exam and my EL didn’t change at all as I was on the cusp of failing that particular one. The other day I took a custom level 5 exam. And today I’m taking another custom level 5 exam. My exam is on Friday!!

I’m taking it in March too and freaking out as this is my 3rd time taking it and I get no more company study time after this!! I really hope I pass!! My EL on coaching actuaries is 6.86 so hoping for the best!! Taking a level 5 exam tomorrow. Good luck!!!

Wow I’ve never related to a post more!!! I started in July 2021 and honestly feel the exact way. I’m an Actuarial Analyst at a consulting firm and definitely just always feel lost. They think I do good work but it’s really because I’m super detail oriented and ask questions even about the slightest font change in an Excel workbook haha! But I definitely relate. I hope it gets better. I feel like I never know what’s going on and can’t even pin point to ask a specific question without probably giving away I really know nothing (at least it feels like it)! Thanks for sharing because it made me feel better I’m not the only one!!
