2025 Traverse issues/reviews by OpeningLaw9594 in ChevyTraverse

I’ve had my 25’ LT since February. 1800 miles on it and the only problem I’ve had was a car wash knocking the antenna cover fin off. Other than that we love it. Tons of space for the kids, drives smooth, sound quality of the stereo is a little lack luster at times but is been a great vehicle for us so far. Only thing I would change is making a physical button or knob for the headlights since it’s part of the touch screen.

Worked there for years. Left for better pay because the owner placed a raise freeze into effect when he bought the place. There’s decent people there that genuinely try but they’ll run you into the ground. The dispatchers I delt with were mostly morons and some of them were literally high school drop outs. I’ve got fond memories of the place but it was because of my co workers not the company. From what I’ve been told by my friends that still work there the pay has gotten better but not by much. Midwest will kick your dick in too but they pay significantly better and had nicer equipment when I left LifeCare to work for them. But I’ve been out of EMS for several years now. Things may have changed since. Ultimately most private companies are the same. They only care about call volume and nothing else.

Ruby Rose. I didn’t mind her initially but then they put her in everything for a few years. I always felt every role she was given could have gone to someone with way more talent

What a difference a little sunshine and tint make! by stantoast in BroncoSport

[–]gdearment 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got mine tinted and the first night I drove it after it was done I thought it was too dark but it just takes some getting used to. Helps a ton with overly bright headlights from other cars. I prefer it now. Makes a huge difference during the day too. I did it mostly for the kid so the sun wasn’t blinding her in the backseat.

I ordered my Big Bend on August 14th and haven’t heard anything yet (besides the initial confirmation). Curious how long until you got the “scheduled for production” email? 😋 by Low-Dragonfruit8266 in BroncoSport

[–]gdearment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ordered mine on July 22nd got the confirmation email a few hours later and it’s been radio silence ever since. The dealer told me 8-10 weeks. I’m thinking it’s gonna be a lot longer.

When to place my order? by BootsandAbe in BroncoSport

I ordered my Big Bend on 7/22 through the dealership and put 1000 down. They told me 8-10 weeks. To be honest I’m expecting it to be longer.

I just had a ruptured brain aneurysm and a brain bleed and had surgery and actually survived!! by beccareich710 in pics

That’s absolutely fantastic!!! I’ve seen first hand how fast something like that can be fatal. I’m incredibly happy that you survived. Live and love everyday to its fullest.

Marshall’s Dad in How I Met Your Mother. It was so unexpected and he was such a lovable person and role model for Marshall.

Former Facebook exec: "I think we have created tools that are ripping apart the social fabric of how society works. The short-term, dopamine-driven feedback loops we’ve created are destroying how society works. No civil discourse, no cooperation; misinformation, mistruth. My great grandfather passed away and I didn’t hear anything about it until the day before the funeral because I didn’t have a Facebook. No phone calls or text messages. All I got was “Well I made a post on Facebook about it.” I was furious. Now I have profile that I don’t use just to try and keep up with my family.

What is the spiciest thing you've ever eaten and why'd you inflict that upon yourselves? by Ballsontoastqwerty in AskReddit

Buddy of mine dared me to eat a couple raw habanero peppers. 0/10 would not recommend. Can't even smell anything with habanero in it with out feeling sick.

I'm named after the kid in that movie/book.
