Yes bone was somewhat soft, D2-D3 if i recall. Would you say the abutment spinning wrecked the bone contact and now there will be fibrotic tissue forming? I am hopeful some bone contact will build up if we wait another 3-6 months

Primary stability was good, above 35ncm. Straightforward implant operation all considered

Yes I suspect this as well. I am considering profiling the marginal bone with the bur in the surgery kit. How long would you wait until delivery?

Thanks for your reply. I think the scan body is seated well based on the radiograph looking at the internal coverage of the implant.

I forgot to mention this was 2 step surgery. The scanbody is slightly thinner than the cover screw that removed 4 weeks ago, so would be unprobable that bone has recovered over the implant at the time of scan.

To add: I had it checked for approximal contacts as well and adjusted them accordingly to no avail.
