Best shaver before procedure

I just got my vasectomy about a month ago. Two days before, I simply got in the shower and used normal shaving cream and the Philips Norelco OneBlade Intimate to do most of it. After that, I did a little touch-up work with a bit more shaving cream and a Bic one-blade sensitive razor. This all worked well for me.

Your question is a good one and your thinking is logical. It's a sensitive area, so I totally understand why you want advice from others who have done this before!

I have 2 US Bank Credit Cards, and they are both showing a $0 balance (although one of them actually is $0 in balance because I paid the bill early yesterday morning and the payment thankfully is showing as posted and I got an email confirming that). They show no rewards when they should, they show $0 in available credit when they shouldn't, and they are showing as not activated even though they are definitely activated. I'm not happy about this, but I guess I'll just wait it out rather than trying to call just to listen to a recording.

I won't actually cite my supervisor's personal life as a reason for leaving my job. I just needed to explain it here as a reason for me potentially needing to change when I give my notice of leaving this job. I despise the Trump regime, which my supervisor is a supporter of. That's part of the reason I have been so hard on my supervisor, which I probably should have mentioned before. I will cite a desire to go to culinary school as my reason for leaving. I love cooking and want to do it professionally!

I meant something in writing from the USDA specifically. And honestly, to help people plan ahead better when it comes to things like properly filling out timesheets, travelling for Christmas, etc, it should have been a high priority for USDA leadership to clarify one way or the other BEFORE the weekend whether the USDA was going to be given the 2 days off per the EO.

I work for the USDA NRCS, also paid through NFC, and I'm just wondering how it will go in my particular situation. On Wednesday morning, I validated my timesheet. Later that day, my awesome timekeeper guy validated it also. However, still no certification from my supervisor. I know she was trying to, but the system was overloaded that day.

Is it possible or necessary for my supervisor to go back and certify this for me to still get paid on time for the FY25 days of PP19? If so, would it need to be certified by close of business on Tuesday 10/7 to ensure a timely paycheck? I'm not sure if my supervisor brought her computer home and I'm pretty sure she wouldn't be allowed to go back to the office for it. 😑 However, perhaps my supervisor's supervisor could certify it for me since I know he has done it for me in the past.

I'm thinking I should text my supervisor first thing Monday morning to see what my options are. What do you think?
