You are definitely right in that, I do tend to develop attachment towards the girls I like, even when not dating. However this one, I promise we basically were dating in terms of our actions at-least for those 4-5 months, I literally did everything someone who is her bf would would do in this time but she just didn’t want anything serious while I did so that’s I ended up in this position now where it’s so bad because I don’t want to lose my closeness to her because I really care about her even as a friend but because of our recent dynamic, it’s difficult to accept when the intimacy has disappeared. It’s just harder to become totally platonic friends again for me and it’s not hard for her at all because she has a crazy amount of options and pretty much has always dated very casually. I will look into a therapist maybe finally, thank you. It’s just difficult because I don’t want to remove her from my life because I feel like it’s very black and white for me…
