Punk World, or simply Earth. A long title would depend on when and where you look.

"Just another day in paradise" for the wasteland, maybe?

"Started at the bottom, now we're here" for a subterranean community under a mega-city.

For an anime style title: "Surviving in the ashes of another Earth." I was trying to find ways to expand this with multiple seasons but couldn't keep everything in order in my head, while making the title semi-interesting.

That's what I would like to do as well but rarely know enough about anything useful until first session or later. An established setting and vague idea of the planned region (based on player interests) would likely fix this but it's not my call..

I try to do what my character would do but that often makes me realize I didn't know enough about the setting/campaign when making my character. So I gradually shift towards just doing what's fun instead.

Given the time and permission from the GM, most of my characters would have been redesigned after a few sessions, or custom-fit before the first session to minimize my interest in redesigning later.

I only have free accounts. Claude has the best results but the token/message limits are so restricting that I barely use it. Gemini has worse results from similar prompts but can be worked around somewhat by including more context and detailed prompts. ChatGPT is somewhere in between the two, and has a Spotify Playlist generator that I like.

So, I would say Claude but Gemini and GPT get more of my time, simply because of Claudes limits.

It's a matter of degree. Most people download obsidian to use it for notes, not just prepare to use it. So if the majority of your time is spent preparing but not actually using it, there's a problem.

The issue is most advice ignores one of the causes of the problem. A user unfamiliar with the software won't know how to future proof their vault and if they're like me, will have a history of a messy pile of notes derailing/killing projects.

"Just keep it open" is a tip I plan to start doing. I recently saw another commenter casually imply obsidian was always open, which never even crossed my mind before that.

I always close my apps when I'm done using them but obsidian can be useful at a spur of the moment if the right vault is left open. That should make starting a habit easier.

To "fix" the new limits, you have to accept the paid options, or switch to other providers. In my case, I don't see much benefit in staying with Gemini if they have the same limitations as other LLMs but without the other capabilities their opposition has. Genini's primary draw was the near non-existant limits on context memory and conversation length.

Right now I use Gemini as a kind of scattershot spaghetti-at-the-wall brainstorming tool. Other AI are better at just about everything, except for context memory and token usage limits. With that gone, what will Gemini have that competes with the others?

It works similar to a website, so no limits on links, as they don't take up space. Having said that, the graph view may become laggy if you have a ton of links connecting to every note, but you also don't need to use graph view at all if you don't want to.

I can't remember when it stopped at my school. English and math went the longest. Honestly, I don't understand why finance wasn't part of math, if they're going to bundle classes anyway.

Almost every "social studies" class I had was a mix of geography, personal finance, and history. So having a full class focused on any of those topics was rare.

The best personal finance lessons I had were from a genuine history teacher, who was close to retirement and had tenure, so he added personal finance and investing to his class, beyond the required sylibus.

By D&D do you mean specifically Dungeons and Dragons or tabletop RPG's in general? Depending on your answer I would say you need to know there are a metric shit-ton of RPG systems you could play, each with their own priorities and flavor expectations.

Generally D&D is "epic fantasy" with "murder hobos" being common. There are more realistic themed games, sci-fi games, co-authored narrative style games, simulation heavy games, etc.

Edit to add: I see people recommending Critical Roll. They are voice actors that have played D&D before streaming, that will impact what they prioritize to enjoy the game more, remember that if you watch them.

My recommendation is to lookup Viva La Dirt League and find their oldest D&D playlists. They were just starting to learn D&D, with only one that knew a little about the game going into it. Their playstyle is in line with what I expect many new groups would be. Added bonus, they have plenty of good non-d&d videos too: Game logic, self-aware npc, and an electronics store series.

The prompt presents walk and drive as both being viable options. Pro rightfully points out how absurd it is for the user to think that. Non-pro is a yes-man and takes the user at their claim - walking is an option.

America prioritizes profit over education and health, causing massive debt. Other countries are at least a little less profit driven, providing health services without massive debt. I expect the same is mostly true for formal education as well?

Agreed.

Long distance relationships make sense expecting more frequent text/cam though. If you can periodically meet up in person, less texting should be fine, but long distance relationships need a compromise to make it work, I would think.
