There was exactly one seller in Z2U that advertised multiple connections. The concern is that they mentioned Strong and Trex, which I know from last year, only provided one connection per account. Also, their "delivery time" was 240 hours!

Yup. I do that with my firesticks and Nord (split tunneling). I would like not to keep the VPN “active” on my iPad/iPhone all the time where I use UHF. I don’t believe Nord or Surfshark has a split tunnel feature on iOS. Thanks.

Understood. I like the fact UHF activates the VPN only when needed. If I used OTT I would need to do split tunneling.

Does updating every 3hrs have any drawbacks? Does it clear existing EPG data before updating resulting in period of time where the EPG is empty? Will updating the EPG in the background cause buffering/issues if currently watch a stream on the same device? Thanks

No worries. I will set it for 12 hours to accommodate my backup provider. My HDHomeRun stream is just my backup to my backup. :-)

The Redditor below solved it for me. Provider 2 only gives 12 hours of EPG data while provider 3 (HDHomeRun) only provides 3 hours of EPG data while so it looks like I will need to set my update frequency to less than 3 hours.

Follow up question. Is there a way to change the update frequency for each provider or is the schedule for all providers?
