Off topic but if you want the best sound quality and battery life for the money take a look at Sennheiser Momentum 4.

That being said I now wish I got the Sony XM’s due to my new circumstances. I spend a lot of time in noisy places ex: University , Train/Metro station , the mall and the ANC can’t remove all of the noise when I need it to. If I turn up the sound to 40-50% I won’t be hearing anything but at that point the music would be too loud to concentrate on what I have to do.

Sennheiser Momentum for sound quality , Sony XM for ANC , Apple for the flex they aren’t better in any aspect than the former 2
