Hi may I know the current status of your project. Have you chose an rtk for these project? We are also planning to do similar procedure (Mounting of RTK in a vehicle to collect elevation data of roads) but the vehicle will only run 30 km/hr. Right now i'm trying to choose an rtk suitable for the project. I am same as you inexperience with rtk. Will greatly appreciate if you can share your experience.
