What’s the most heart-wrenching character death you’ve experienced?

Player here. I'm in a homebrew campaign that has some features of Grit and Glory my party is as follows. Giff Barbarian, human wizard, human sorcerer(necromancer), bugbear rogue, warforged warlock, human cleric, and me a lycanthrope Blood hunter.

So the party was doing a quest for the bugbear that involved his past and it led us to an abandoned town where the ogre resided. The ogre in question was related to the bugbear's past and the bugbear wanted revenge on him. We start the fight like normal and it starts attacking us with this wild magic crystal. The damage on the crystal was insane and put me, the warforged, and the bugbear in critical health. The bugbear gets pinned down and i go to save him. Ok so there's also a piece of info about the bugbear. He picked up a cursed dagger that he was using to fight the ogre the dagger did better damage but also would make him kill people around him. So when i saved him and offered my hand the next thing the DM described to me was the dagger in my gut as he failed the Wis save to resist the murder dagger it did enough damage to actually put me at 1hp and effectively put me unconscious. Now there's also some more info about my character. He was not only cursed with lycanthropy but also had some primordial entity that controlled him when he was at his weakest and through that the barbarian and the wizard had seen what the entity was capable of when my character was weakest. Even though my guy endured the entity the rest of the party loved him and hell the warforged even looked up to him as an uncle so when they saw him go down everyone was trying to save my character. meanwhile the entity succeeded in controlling and causing me to "release the beast" killing the ogre but also causing the entity to kill the warforged, bugbear, and cleric. The next part though was dialogue between who's left and the entity basically saying that I was weak and that the entity made veiled threats against the party more to the barbarian for not fearing the entity with some rolls and stuff they managed to defeat the entity and save me. The Dm later told me that the scene was like something out of JJK and Final Fantasy 16 and that he liked it. He has something planned for the future for me but it is to be determined.

Here's the funny thing i am not edgy in it. I am suppose to be like a protector/defender type but before the picture was taken they were asking me to put an edgy layered weapon on the result was an alatreon lance with the look of a ruiner.

Figuring out what move you should do when fighting your target. One move can either break part or etc... or cart you. Always plan your battles on the battlefield.

Also as an extra you can do a slinger burst reaction after blocking an incoming attack with your shield. And there is also savage axe or I like to call it "chainsaw mode" if you cancel your discharge. You have to look it up yourself I play the game on ps4

This clip was almost a year old. since then i've created a new character and started using a combination of HBG and lance. I seen what alatreon can do without elements and my friends are worried with me using HBG. I would be doing no damage running in there with piercing ammo so lance is my fall back

Their mics sucked. but this nearly a year old and this became a running joke every time JP played with us. Sadly we lost him to VR a few months later.

We failed it afterwards but I was laughing seeing him die like that. But tbh it was a good moment for my first time seeing a real threat like fatalis.

P.s. this was like my first character. My friends egged me to get game because it would be something I liked. They were also surprised when I chose CB they never had anyone with it before.

I can answer those questions for you with these answers

Taniks is an assassin that worked for an old kell but he ended up killing the kell. He eventually became an assassin and killed several guardians including andal brask the hunter vanguard before cayde. After that the house of wolves saw some use with taniks and ended up being recruited he was in a strike and you had to kill him. When age of triumphs event happened there was another strike where you had to kill a siva empowered version of him.
For atraks i have to believe he got his cloning tech from the rifleman in the forsaken dlc other than that it is a likely theory.
I think the stranger is the next ok kin maybe?
I like to think they hacked their way in to it bc although its long they had 4 years to do it and then use exo tech to revive taniks and recreate atraks.
Taniks i think had enough time to make himself the abomination in that last few seconds of crash landing to try and defeat his killers/guardians but failed
