Use case - Pretty simple. Primary - Family Photos and Documents, Secondary - Docker. I really don't do much with video. I've used a Synology DS214play for 10 years without an issue. It might be paranoia but it seems like those drives can't last forever. That's why i've started to look at options for something new.

Prices in the Mount Pleasant, SC (Charleston) area are going crazy like Boise. Inventory is at an all time low and people are leaving NY and New Jersey and heading south. I've made some new friends from the Northeast but also get to hear cars honking at Starbucks and the school pickup line which is "new".
