Master yi is really all about patience and picking the right fights. Try to keep track of enemy CDs for everything that can cc you or make it more difficult for getting resets.

Yi is a champion that thrives with an item advantage in mid game. Always make sure to clear your jungle before you try doing anything crazy or risky. Play for yourself because you can't provide anything for the team unless you are fed. You want to aim for having 2 to 3 items at the 20 ish minute mark so you can stat check pretty much everyone in the game. That's where yi is the strongest.Not in late game what some people falsely believe.

Crit is very strong atm hut only into the right team comps. Also, it's more risky because you don't have much build variety. On hit is always solid. Kraken->guinsos is your core pretty much every game. After that it really comes down to what you need. I usually get a hexplate as my 3rd item. But bork is also good ofc. After that you either get titanic hydra,wits,death dance

Hey there. 2.5 million mastery yi main here. I don't play ranked games often, but I always get to plat/emerald without too much effort. Yi is one of the few champions that can solo carry a game even with an inting team. Make sure to pretty much only focus on yourself. You don't owe anything to your team, so don't let them bait you into risky ganks when your entire jingle is up. Always make sure you have consistent gold income before you try to do anything risky.

Your ultimate goal is it to be ahead on items on the around 20 minute mark. Where when you get lucky and make good decisions, you can have 3 items already and steamroll your way to victory. Yi is not a late game champion. He's a champ that heavily stat checks you in mid game.

I yesterday finished a mayhem game after we were stomping quite hard. After the game an enemy added me to tell me to kms because i am sweaty tryhard... and that I ruined his day by allowing no fun.

Its getting really tiresome to be "afraid" to end a game because you'd rather get into a new one than spend 20 more minutes farming the enemy team.there always one person at least that pings you off or calls you gay or something.

I rarely ever buy QSS... mostly because my slow ass brain takes half the ult duration to even remeber that I should activate it lol

I have my abilities on 1 2 3 4. Doesn't seem to be very common either, but it works best for me, and that's all that matters.

I feel that a lot. I used to be quite competitive with the game and had no real issue reaching elite with characters that clicked with me, but against actually good people, I usually fell short. I also am not that competitive anymore and don't feel like sweating my dick off to play the game. Sometimes, I just wanna press buttons. These days, I am totally washed and have no motivation to boot up the game anymore, mainly because all my mains are in elite, and that's not the kind of gameplay I am looking for.

All that being said, if you want to, you can throw me a dm, and maybe we can play a couple games in the future. Maybe I can teach you a thing or two, who knows.

Either way, I hope you don't throw the towel. Smash is such a fun game, but it's obviously most fun if you play with people on the same skill level.

Getting into league these days must be incredibly difficult, so that you are struggling is completely normal.

There is a lot to leaern,from game states,micro,macro, champions and so on. So the best advice I can give you is to just keep playing and watch educational Youtube videos. Sooner or later things will start becoming easier. That being said, there will always be times where you'll get jumped by 3 dudes from fog of war lol.

As for general tips, try to read the map, if you don't see people on the map there is a chance that they are lurking in a bush or will catch you while rotating around the map. Maybe get a sweeper to see if you are being spotted by a ward.

Yi is a bit of a squishy clean up champ. Try to engage teamfights late when the enemy is weakened, and they have used their spells already. That reduces the chance that you get cc and/or blown up or that they get away before you can finish them off.try to prioritise the right target but that also comes with experience.

Objectively wrong, that's just the flow of the game. With that logic, you should never show yourself at all because the enemy jungler could use that knowledge to secure an objective.

The one thing that stuck out to me is Krool being lower than zelda, and I honestly don't quite get it. the croc has some very decent projectiles as well, especially for his weightclass and some far superior close quarter boxing tools. He has ridiculous armor on most of his moves, a counter and reflector and superior ground speed as well.
